App does not work
elly pines

This used to be a great app. Now that the new version has come out it shows the flash screen and then quits working across all of my devices.

I won’t live long enough to get through the authentication hoops all the time
Me.299

The app is fine when it works, but then all of the sudden it will tell me the app is not included in my cable subscription. Sometimes deleting and re-installing the app brings it back. Sometimes logging out of my provider and back in gets it back. Sometimes it takes a few days off. Whether or not I have access, I am still paying a huge cable bill to cover this service. It’s aggravating.

Please go back to old design

The weird app-opening graphics TRULY detract from this formerly beautifully monochrome app.

Won’t work after update

I’ve had WATCH TCM for three years and have loved watching old movies on it. Ever since the TCM logo updated, it continually kicks me out of the app, on both my ROKU TVs. If l just click on it, it’ll show the logo and then l get kicked out, back to my tv’s main screen. If l uninstall it and reinstall it, it’ll let me on, up until l try to register/sign in. Then it’ll kick me out, again. I hope this gets fixed soon, because l watch this app a lot!

Screwed it all up.

New version continuously asks for email and password. The old version was stored. Pain in the butt and unnecessary. I’ll be watching STARZ now. Now I need a Nick name to send this feed back ?

CAPTIONS DO NOT WORK
CLovecat

September, 2021: closed captioning no longer works with the latest update and rebrand of the app. There is no option to turn on the captions, ANYWHERE. Good job, TCM, for making this app unusable for disabled viewers. ?? UPDATE FROM SEPTEMBER 2020: I use this app still, every day. With the last update, I can no longer add films to my Watchlist, nor can I delete them. I don’t know if a set number of films I can add to my Watchlist is a new feature, but I absolutely HATE it. I have exactly 19 films in my Watchlist, which I cannot add or delete. I’m about losing my mind because it’s so frustrating. Please, please, fix this. I watch movies dependent on when they’ll be expired, and now I know I’m missing some because I can no longer add them to my Watchlist. SOS, TCM, FIX AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. - - - - - The latest update on Watch TCM has made a ridiculously stable app erratic. I use the app almost every day to get my Old Hollywood fix, and it seems to freeze multiple times during streaming when it used to never freeze. I’m not exaggerating, it never froze. It was almost like a miracle. The captions, which are usually very accurate, also now only work half of the time, and that’s frustrating. I rely on captions, so I’m grateful it’s offered, but halfway through a movie, it starts to skip and then stop working altogether. While I’m happy with the newest update that it’s easier to go forward in a movie, it doesn’t seem to save and “remember” where I left off on a film, so I have to figure it out on my own. The app also freezes and/or crashes when I look up an actor or film. If a movie featuring a star I’m interested in isn’t currently available, I can’t search for them. I do love that I can pick movies to watch later as part of a separate tab on the left side of the app. The fact that this app even exists is a major positive. I’m also enjoying the fact that recently, most movies now seem to be available for more than seven days, because it gives me a chance to actually watch and enjoy. I’m still disheartened that not every film aired on the network is available on the app—such as “All That Heaven Allows,” which I’ve been trying to watch for a good year now. Overall, this is a fantastic app for the classic movie fan, and it allows to me to watch what I want, like Silent Sunday, on my schedule. Please keep it up.

Crashes on iOS 15 Beta 8 Please fix

Still no Chromecast and that jingle!
ImAManAndAMouse

Update: the app was useless to me before with no chromecast but i noticed a new red icon and i thought ‘great new features’. and then i opened this new update and the song scared the cr@p out of me. In all my years i have never seen nor desired that. And still no Chromecast. It’ll still be an unused brick taking up Home Screen space. Is that how TCM sees its viewers? (I should just delete it but hope springs eternal.) Old: Love TCM. Just bought a Chromecast to stream the additional OnDemand movies (not included on cable version) on iOS. But Watch TCM on iOS is the ONLY video app on my phone that does not allow me to stream to Chromecast. Give me the Chromecast icon, TCM! I will no longer subscribe if this isn’t fixed by the time my contract is up. Four months to go...

Expires today!?
Uthier

Why is it that I cannot watch a movie that "expires today" at 9 pm, even though the movie is only 1:50 long?

Annoying update
Oacedia

Now it blares a song when you open the app. Why? It’s unnecessary. Also now when you click to see the info on a movie I have to see the silly graphics again. I know you’re trying to appeal to a new crowd but this is not the way to do it. Cut the sound unless I hit play and stop the graphics being shown every time I click on something. Please.
