Constantly crashes - especially when used with Chromecast

I literally have to uninstall and reinstall every time I use this app with my Chromecast. So frustrating!
OWN App Keeps Crashing

Lately (at least a month) the app keeps crashing when I am watching the latest episodes of a few series on mobile devices. It will freeze and then crash and I have to start the episode over from the beginning and cannot fast forward to where the episode was halted.

Why do shoes that currently run expire?

The app works. However, there are so many ads! Not sure why so many are necessary, they’re quite disruptive to the viewing experience. More importanty though, I don’t understand the concept of episodes “expiring” from the app, especially in the area of binge watching. For example, I finally have the time to watch the new season of Queen Sugar, but when I log into the app, I’m unable to see any episode that came before episode 6. This makes no sense. The season is currently on tv. One would think that they would leave every episode available for the entire season. Now, I don’t know where to watch it, as it won’t be on Hulu for quite some time, and I don’t want to start the season at episode 6. Not sure how this impacts their ratings and viewing numbers, but I’d think this matters.

The app is good, but the commercials are too long. I watch shows during my breaks at work, and it’s hard to fit an episode in. There are seven commercials between scenes.

I can't sign into my TV provider

I've had this app for a year and always keep it updated, but it never lets me log into my tv provider on my phone. Its VERY irritating because i like to watch my shows while on the go and it still does not work

I have to sign out and sign in EVERY time I use the app. My cable subscription is never saved. The app has quality content but this glitch makes me not even want to use it!

I’ve been an OWN app user for quite a while now however it’s getting to the point to where I’d rather not bother with the app at all. With a busy schedule, the connivence of being able to tune into my favorite shows at my own leisure is a great benefit. I enjoy tv and have a few cable apps downloaded to my phone however unlike the other apps OWN is the worst! The ads are ridiculous. I thought one of the benefits cable apps has to offer is limited to no commercials. OWN is the only cable app that plays up 8 commercials and frequently throughout the show. It takes away from enjoying the show on the app. You would think after paying for the network they would at least offer some type of benefit like other cable apps but no. Also, not to mention there is no 10 second rewind/fast forward option. So whatever you do do not rewind/fast forward to much because it’s a very strong possibility all those ads you had to patiently wait for to finish will pop back up for you to have to watch all 6-8 of them again. The app spares no pity for the watcher when it comes to the ads. The ads seem to be the most important aspect of the app. It’s possible that I could just be over reacting or possibly just beyond spoiled from the other cable apps that are just way better then the OWN app.

Own has grest shows, but the apps they make are garbage. OWN on apple tv is always blurry and freezes constantly. It also does the same through this app when you're casting. Please do a better job with this!
