Excellent app for steps

Having used several apps to count steps while walking or running, I think Walker is delightfully simple and accurate. I don't need or want lots of features I never use. Walker gives me the totals for the day quickly, simply, and reliably. Trends are helpful and readily available. Overall, Walker is an excellent app!

I love this app, I have been using it for ~3years and it is beautifully designed and works great. Distance measurements are quite accurate, based upon walking known distances and when comparing to dedicated fitness trackers. I also have and use Vitalbook Pro from the same developer, and I find that I use and appreciate having both, as Vitalbook Pro provides tracking of additional health data

Makes keeping track of steps very easy. I prefer it to the watch style trackers because I've found it to be more reliable and more durable. My principal exercise is walking so it does everything I need. The only downside for me is remembering to keep the phone with me.

speedometers forever!!!
This is the BEST Walking app on the market!!!!. Requires no internet signal or Wi Fi when walking in lower and underground levels of buildings and uses little power. Unlike other apps it does NOT lose its memory if app is closed and gives you more than ample warning to start it so it can collect data from co processor once a week. This is close as you can get to an old school rock solid pedometer that is built into a modern phone. It also offers rewards and challenges and keeps a COMPLETE history of all accomplishments on any time basis.

So far Walker always counts steps if you remember to put your phone in your pocket. Stride length is programmable.
