While I certainly haven't discovered or used all of the features yet, I do find the monitor syncs easily to my phone and I am happy with the basic functionality as well as the heart rate display on the RunFit app. It's much easier for me to make progress when I know I am training properly. I absolutely recommend the Tickr and RunFit.

The Tickrx works well for me. I use it when I run and during heated yoga. The app needs some refinement, little things are out of place and unclear/missing explanations. If the product/design team is listening please iron the little things out so I can love your product.
Lost and need directions
I purchased the Wahoo Tickr to run the Wahoo application RunFit. The application downloads but will not boot up. I click the icon, the screen goes black, and then returns to the icon. Wahoo cites the iPad as compatible under its “Compatibility” listing: “Requires iOS or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.” My iPad Air II is running iOS 10.3.2, the latest iOS version. I called Wahoo Technical Support numerous times over several days during their published support hours ((M - F) 10am - 7pm EDT) and could not even get anyone to ANSWER the phone! NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT.
GRule mom
I love the heart rates zones- particularly on my run days. It will tell me if I pushed myself hard enough. If it felt hard but my zones don't reflect it, then I know it was all a mental battle. And, next time I will work to push through even harder! I live this app with my heart rate monitor!

I have used this for over a year with good experience. Apart from occasional problems with Bluetooth connection, it works well. Expect no support from Wahoo if you have an account issue. They cannot do basic account password reset or retrieval. They could only recommend start new account which will erase a year plus of exercise data for me. Understandable if free app from small company, unacceptable for an app supporting a premium priced companion exercise tracker (tickrx).
