Watch app less intuitive than Apple Workouts

How do I pause a workout from the Apple Watch app?

Can have more functions

It works great with the heart rate strap. Heart rate is way more responsive and accurate than Fitbit. Wish the app can track user defined reps like push up and pull-ups or squats not just the set routine in the 7min workouts. The monitor has the ability just need wahoo to provide the code to do it.

I like the heart rate feature!

Tried the app today for the first time. The Wahoo HR monitor works seamlessly and the feedback and map give you the details I was looking for.

Way more accurate than fit bit

The chest strap is far superior to any wrist heart monitor in terms of accuracy. Everything has worked really well for me. It’d be nice if the app gave quarter mile updates instead only mile updates (like MapMyRun does).

Wahoo RunFit vs Polar Beat

Update: after many Wahoo RunFit App updates, Wahoo still drops out much more than Polar Beat. Also, Polar has improved and rarely drops out and has more features. Seeing they are both free can’t see any advantage to Wahoo. I no longer see a reason to keep both apps running simultaneously, unless you want to compare them or have one for a total and one for individual things like cardio and other sets. Below is my old review: I’ve been using Wahoo RunFit and Polar Beat simultaneously for over 1 year using the Polar H7 chest strap. There are 2 annoying things about RunFit: 1) it drops out much more, meaning, you turn it on and then after your workout find it only recorded 1 or 2 minutes of the workout (ugh!) 2) You can’t write notes. This is important because many times there are variables you want to keep track of. On the picky side, I find it interesting Wahoo calculates more calories than Polar on low HR-say below 125, and Polar calculates more above 125. Also, their calorie algorithms seem to be flip-flopped on age: Wahoo calculates more calories for age and Polar calculates more calories for youth. In the end, I’d still recommend running 2 apps simultaneously because there have been occasions when Polar dropped out and Wahoo didn’t.

Run/Fit Wahoo App

Worked great for playing tennis. Using Wahoo TikrX heart rate monitor. Love it!

Cuts out after 8-10 min

trailrunner64

Have been using on a compatible tradmill. Several times i has cut out after 8-10 min - it will register the heart rate - but the timer and distance turn to 0 and the average pace gets stuck. I have used it on the same TM but will try another and a stationary bike to see if it makes a differnce I can only give the app one star ... at this time

Doesn’t work at all

What can I say? Put simply, nothing on the app works. None of these work on the Apple Watch app. Heart rate Average pace Distance Cadence Calories It’s a shame because the iPhone app is quite good. And yes my OS is up to date and all of the permissions are turned on.

Great for tracking distance and heart rate

Log2Lose

I used the wahootkr heart rate monitor with this app. I just wanted to know my heart rate as I was jogging and this app also showed me the route I ran and the distance I ran.( which was what I was wanting. For the 1st day it was what I was looking for. ).

Good app

I used the app and the hart rate monitor for the first time today and it did well tracking my workout but if the app could have more choices because some of my workouts include free weights to.
