Marginal app function

Lanet

I find it incredibly frustrating getting the tckr X to connect to the app. Sometimes it connects fine and other times it just won’t work. I have turned my phone on and off, downloaded the utility app, moved it away from other Bluetooth devices but I still can’t determine the cause for the inconsistency. When it works it’s great but I am tired of fighting with it all the time.

Was good

But has not been updated for almost a year, sharing on nike app doesn’t work anymore and no-one replies to support emails. The app is certainly dead.

Doesn’t save (useful) workout data

OddJobBobAJobBobUSA

Paired with Precor Chrono Power spin bike it will display heart rate and power during the workout but when you save the workout it only stores time and distance. What’s the point of that? It’s the power data that’s the useful thing to store for weekly TSS and IF monitoring. The Chrono Power bike already displays my power and heart rate on a clear display-displaying it on the phone simultaneously is a waste of time if the data can’t be saved post-workout.

AWESOME HEART RATE MONITOR

SMEXYMOM

During spin class at the gym, I use this to keep track of my calories burned, as well as, to maintain FAT BURNING zone to maintain the muscles I work hard to gain

Love it!

I recently started using this and I absolutely love it. It is a friendly reminder of encouragement to stay on top of my workouts and “in the zone” that I want and need to be in!

No Information on the Motion Analytics

So numbers come out and you are told an average runner has a smoothness of 100. What is the grey graph in the background? Which axis is not smooth? A digital manual would be a great idea. It also does not seem to push data to TP as advertised.

Excellent for basic cardio training

Goodnews Trainer

As a Cardiovascular Fitness Specialist who uses cardio programming with virtually all of my clients I need a reliable and affordable monitor. The Wahoo Tickr is exactly that. Excellent app, solid connection, big display and color coding to keep the novice client on track, in their safe zones and making progress. I hoping Wahoo is in the works on a watch that connects to the chest strap for those who don’t want to lug a smart phone around on their arm when they train outside. All in all this is my new go to for HRM thanks to the quality and affordability (sorry Polar).

Sweet Gear

First run after a broken leg from a motorcycle mishap. Used the TICKR X and my iPhone X. Previous experience was with Garmin and Suunto. Love this experience. Worked as advertised. I highly recommend this setup. If sensor isn’t seen right away, just close and restart the app. Very impressed so far.
