Got this as a gift at my baby shower to use as a baby monitor. Will not connect to camera/WiFi. Terrible app. Terrible camera. Couldn’t even get it to turn on/through the set up. What a complete waste of money.

I have been using the cameras (I have 2) and the app with no problems until this last software update. Now my cameras either show a black image (they ARE still connected to the internet) or the image will freeze and then the screen goes black. If the microphone button is pressed then the cameras also black out. Basically, they are no longer working ?

I do not know if it’s the app or the hardware, the camera, but I can not connect via WiFi. When I try to send a message to the company via the app, it will not let me submit the message. I spent hours connecting via WiFi then today it told me I needed to update the app. So I did. And now it will no longer connect via WiFi. App or camera problem, I do not know, but they go hand in hand if one is crap it will not allow the other to work. I would not recommend this app or any of their equipment. If you have any issues you can not get in contact with them.

Ok. Ethernet connectivity is great. Wifi so so because its not running the best and greatest wifi hardware but wow this is amazing tech. We returned the arlo because this is 1080P and the software is being improved!

Can someone please explain why the motion alerts do not work anymore?! I have turned on the “out” option in the alarm section now with this new update and i do not get anymore movement notifications, and that was the exact reason why i bought this thing!

I am forever having to restart the app because it's constantly "freezing". I use this to keep an eye on my toddler while sleeping or playing independently in the basement. Unfortunately, I can't rely on this camera or application to help me make sure he's safe. The picture is relatively clear when it is up and working. I hate that there's a delay of a couple seconds with the picture and sound. I've tried troubleshooting multiple different things that might help with the speed, and nothing has made it better. All in all, I'm annoyed and not impressed.
Not connecting to wifi

I got my camera and got everything connected up until the wifi. I've checked and have a 2.4ghz connection but when I put in my password to my wifi to connect to the camera I just get a white screen. And nothing happens. Glitch in the app maybe? I'm thinking about sending it back if I can't get it figured out
