Vote notifications come far too late, as others have said you should be notified about upcoming votes, and the messaging congressmen is basically non functional

As many have started this app would be helpful if it informed you of upcoming votes. I like that this app 'appears' to put you in contact with your legislators regarding votes they've already voted on but have deep concerns over transparency since according to Wikipedia it's an app developed by the Mackinaw Center for public opinion, a right wing organization that supports shutting down unions, lower taxes (for who, the 1%?), & a whole lot of other rich-get-richer policies. There's not really a way to know if your messages or letters actually reach anyone and knowing after the fact how they voted doesn't really amount to much help. A better app would alert you to upcoming votes so you could actually voice-in your opinion. Because of who its developers are, I wonder how unbiased their descriptions of the bills are. I'll keep it but as with everything digital these days use with caution. I can at least use the information to email my representatives independently.

I wish there was a way to voice my opinions before my reps vote on issues rather than afterwards. That said, contacting them after the fact does have usefulness too... except that the app isn't actually sending any of those emails for me.

As of now, this app has lost the ability to email your legislature. Other than keeping you in the loop on how your congressman votes, it's a bit useless if we can't flood them with emails. Once fixed I will re-rate. Suggestion: add representatives from wherever you like you wish to follow, including the president.

When I try to share my reaction to my legislator's vote I get a message stating this function is not working.
Need an iPad version

This app is a great idea but you really should make a version for the iPad. It's much easier for people with vision and dexterity issues to use an iPad and this app needs to be accessible to as many people as possible.
Great concept if only it worked.

Cannot send messages from the app. This was one of the primary reasons I downloaded it. All I needed in one place to see votes and respond to my reps. But since the email messaging has not worked since I downloaded this app, in likely to delete it very soon.
