Great app. I have used it for a couple of years and have seen no bias. Just because others don't like a vote doesn't make the app bias.

This app is an excellent resource for people to get more involved in their local politics of their state, to see what their house and senate representatives are voting on and resources to contact them if you don't agree so our voices can be heard. The problem is, the data provided is unclear with the voting system. When I'm asked if I agree or disagree with a vote. Is this regarding if I agree with the vote the senator made, if I agree with what is being voted on, or if I agree with the outcome of the vote. It's not very clear, please specify. Thanks. Also adding comments for each bill so we can discuss thoughts or debate. And maybe not showing the vote of the rep until after you vote so you aren't swayed? These simple ideas would make your app way more useful and I'd be willing to share with all my friends, it's just not there yet.

Good app but only for federal officials, for which there are other apps. This one seems easier to use to track votes. Wish it had my NY State representatives.

The best way to keep up with your representatives and your political interest.

But it's connected to a shady think tank, Mackinac Center for Public Policy

This is a very clean app. It does what it says without annoying advertising or suggested site transfers.

I love the concept, but I get notifications my Senator is voting Yes/No on House bills...really? Since when do Senators vote in the house?? If this is incorrect, what else is??

works ok to show me votes, but every time I swipe on an HR vote, it takes me to a page so that I can send an email that I "Agree" with my Senator's vote (who, of course, doesn't vote on HR bills when they're in the House of Representatives) - locks up there and there is no way to cancel out of that.

Christopher Wray was confirmed as the new Director of the FBI on August 1. This vote showed up on VoteSpotter today, September 10, over a month later. This delay makes the app almost useless; I'm being generous with three stars.
