Spot votes, vote Smart.

Your elected officials vote on hundreds of bills every year. Keeping track of important votes can feel like a full time job.

That’s where VoteSpotter comes in.

VoteSpotter is a simple app that alerts you to key votes, while making it easy to give your legislator feedback on how they voted.

Make yourself heard.

With one click, you’ll be able to vote on your elected officials’ vote, giving them a thumbs-up or a thumbs-down.

Whether you agree or disagree with your elected officials, you can then easily share your opinion with them via email or phone right from the app.

Plus, you can share your view with friends! If you have Facebook or Twitter installed on your smartphone, you’ll be able to quickly share with your social network and have enough time to get back to what you were doing.

How it works:

VoteSpotter finds your local legislators by your home address, and begins alerting you to their recent votes.

Within seconds you’ll be able to read brief, plain-English descriptions of the bills.

Simple and powerful.

Until elected officials in state capitols and in D.C. limit themselves from deliberating on everything under the sun (e.g. the official state tartan, hair salon licensing, unflavored rice or soy milk, etc.), VoteSpotter is here to show you what your legislators actually did, rather than what they said they would do, and help you spot the really important needles in the haystack.

Their votes. Your Views. Simple and powerful.

Where are the 2019 voting results

Great App But User Be Aware...
Tom tom j

The app reports what legislation is coming before the house and senate for vote. It’s your responsibility to understand the bills. I believe that legislators often use language that can be deceptive. Do your research. Beyond that it’s a great way to reach out to your politicians at the federal level. At the local level not so much.

Cannot get red notifications to go away
kdiverdown

Even after reviewing and submitting my opinions on votes- the red notifications do not change.

Moved
Fugtwidt

This app is great except I moved and put in my new address and cannot get rid of my old legislators or my old address.

Good app for contacting Congress
Prizepatrol123

Love this app to tell Congress what I think. Hope you’ll add support for GA state legislation soon.

App crashing
Morgogerms

This app is great, except for one major thing. It crashes or just doesn’t work when I try to email my Congresspeople. When I first uploaded it over a year who it worked perfectly but now I can’t send a single email out. The polls are great but the real bread and butter was the ease in contacting my senators. Without that, the app is just a lousy pocket poll.

Great Site ..
Phillyborm

5 stars for the idea BUT some bills are written in convoluted language and sometimes we are left wondering EXACTLY what my vote is supporting or denying

App won’t open after last update.
marinegrunt0341

ATTENTION DEVELOPERS: The app is not opening after your last update or the last iOS 13.1.1 push. Possibly a combination of both. After clicking the app to open, it immediately crashes. Please fix this issue. Once this problem is resolved, I will give it a higher rating.

Undo Latest Update

The App doesn’t work following the latest update. Please revert. It just crashes now. Would give the App 4 stars, but only when it works.
