Listening to music

All I wanted to do was select music for computer to feed to stereo with out turning on TV and I find this brilliant for that. It's actually quicker to select music to play through this app then using windows 7 media center 64 bit on my computer. I bought the full cost version the same night.

Once I got the Server installed...

This works great! Don't use media center much but this affords me some level of control. Finds the server fast. You have to read all the documention- this app WILL NOT WORK unless you install the vmcmote server into your system. As with VLC Remote free, there is no access to your media library unless you buy the full 8-dollar version. But it will allow you to access playlists. One and only one complaint: there is a time lag between the app on the phone and the server on the PC, takes about half a second to respond to a button push.

Great work

This app works like a charm it really makes it even more interesting to use windows media center

Works as stated, but limited with the Lite Version

Mountain 104.com

Downloaded this free app today, and installed it on my IPhone. Then, I went to the website and downloaded the 1.28v server service app. Installed it, allowed the firewall to access it, and works like a charm! I don't play music on my PC, just my IPhone, and run a non-profit radio station on Shoutcast (Alternative Rock) (KSRJ). I also use Media Browser add-on, and sometimes I'm too far fo use the IR remote, and this was a great solution to using a USB driven IR tool to control Media Center. Really don't have anything negative to say about it, especially since it was something I wanted, but didn't think Apple would allow it in the store. Just as a hunch, I checked, and sure enough, there was one to use with my system. Running Windows Ultimate, 64Bit. Note: Shutdown Media Center prior to installing the Server app, and then relaunch it, and allow the firewall to let it gain access. Then start the VNCmote app on your IPhone/IPad, and it will find the server with no problem. Then your all set, and again, have nothing bad to say, works fantastic for me!

Window 8 MCE

Lash9an

Downloaded the free version to iPhone and the server to the pc running the MCE but my phone is not recognizing the server. Made the proper adjustment in the firewall still not working. I have concluded that it does not work on windows 8. Correct me if I am wrong. Giving one star because I am not able to use it.

Not working in Win7

CL86brz

I would love to make it works because of the features and how it looks. After trying a whole day of install and play with firewall, still cannot make it work on Win7.
