Works as stated, but limited with the Lite Version – vmcMote Lite - Remote Control your Windows Media Center Review

Downloaded this free app today, and installed it on my IPhone. Then, I went to the website and downloaded the 1.28v server service app. Installed it, allowed the firewall to access it, and works like a charm! I don't play music on my PC, just my IPhone, and run a non-profit radio station on Shoutcast (Alternative Rock) (KSRJ). I also use Media Browser add-on, and sometimes I'm too far fo use the IR remote, and this was a great solution to using a USB driven IR tool to control Media Center. Really don't have anything negative to say about it, especially since it was something I wanted, but didn't think Apple would allow it in the store. Just as a hunch, I checked, and sure enough, there was one to use with my system. Running Windows Ultimate, 64Bit. Note: Shutdown Media Center prior to installing the Server app, and then relaunch it, and allow the firewall to let it gain access. Then start the VNCmote app on your IPhone/IPad, and it will find the server with no problem. Then your all set, and again, have nothing bad to say, works fantastic for me!
