Restarting

This game is great most of the time. It really is frustrating when I try to adjust the helm and the game “restarts” taking me out of the race and starting over! If I purchase any of the special items vmg, etc then I lose a token and I don’t even get to use it. Other than that it’s a really fun game to play.
Great game - but costly bugs

It costs real $ to participate in practice races, but anytime your phone has a pop-up (such as 20% battery left) - it kicks you out without giving you your coins back...

Seems like the game is more than willing to take your money for tokens, but they disappear when you get disconnected by the game, my internet connection is fine.

I am not one to play video games. I’ve tried multiple sailing apps, but this one is by far the best. It includes the right amount of complexity without being distracted by unnecessary complexity. It is really a game to learn how to skipper a race, not do everything at once. However it is so realistic that I will recommend this to all my racing students.
Fun, but weird rule enforcement

Rues interpretation unrealistic, especially in close maneuvering. Called OCS even when behind the line. Haven’t tried any others.

Playing on an iPad and it keeps kicking me out. Mostly when I have a REALLY good start. Right over the start line it shuts down. Fun when I can get a whole race in.

you invested more in pretty 3d graphics than in predictable rules and mechanics when autoVMG is off and youre just a few degrees off, no way of knowing if you gotta head up or down to reach vmg. shouldnt be a guessing game. i suspect that this is intentionally complicated to push pay-to-win it automatically turns your boat sometimes while close to others.. but not always/predictably please buy sailx’s rule algorithms - yours are terrible (especially at windward mark - not just bad but unpredictability bad) and sailx clearly isnt using them anymore. most of all, stop insta-DSQing me for getting a notification! the app crashing every time i get a “20% battery” warning is completely unacceptable

I’ve been a long time sailor, and not being able to race in quarantine I’d hard. I downloaded this game expecting to try it and then delete it because of poor quality of game mechanics, but in reality, I love it! It is quite realistic and allows real situations to happen. Some changes could be made, but it still is an amazing app and I think really helpful !
