Great Tool When Off Roading Solo

I use this app a lot when I’m out on remote 4x4 trails. Works great on my iphone and ipad (with gps). I have purchased two of the topo maps and they are great. I use the Save for off line use map function a lot and that works great also.

I have tried other trail trackers with Garmin GPS devices - the extra steps required to sync or transfer GPX files is burdensome. ViewRanger works seamlessly with only my Apple Watch (series 3) even without a cellular connection!

Had trouble for awhile but after updates on my phone, watch and app. All is great. What fixed it; I don't know, or care. Phone app worked good but watch would hang up. Edited my review to five stars.

I have used this application to find a place I had rested at on a long hike in Lassen park , I had left my canteen and used the app to locate it, I have had the app freeze twice but it might have been my Iphone , I wish you had a instruction video ,some functions are learn as you go I guess!

This is one of those apps that requires you to share your location 24x7, even when you're not using the app. There is no valid reason to require this, though there are plenty of nefarious ones. For me that is an automatic uninstall.

It literally wouldn't load ANY trails. I didn't bother with anything else in the app. I don't know why this made it to the App Store.

The concept is great but the app crashes like every 2 minutes. I tried to use it several times and finally just switched back to the Apple Watch workout app. Try again app developers.

Been using for 3 years, several days a week FOR FREE. Mountain biking in the woods where each trail looks like every other trail, "you know the trail, its the one with the rock by the big tree". Viewranger gets us back to where we started. I use it at home to look at my previous routes and to explore future rides. Fantastic App!

I'm not having any app crashes. It does what it's designed to do and I believe it's more robust and useful than Gaia.
