Horrible app

I have had this My Numbers subscription for almost a year now and it is absolutely terrible. Calls drop constantly, after 1 min of talking to someone it will go silent. I use this as a second number for my work and it is extremely disappointing when I have to consistently tell my clients the call dropped or they cannot hear me. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Spend 50 mins waiting on customer service line for the representative to not even know what it is. The app does not work. When I attempted to obtain a new number it keeps saying no new numbers available. I was transferred to IT only for an automated voice to state they’re busy and unable to assist me and hung up. Went to chat to see if someone could help and it’s been 30 mins a rep can’t even help me. I’ll cut my losses. Verizon has the worst customer service.

App seemed to work okay for a while. Now I can’t open it without it being logged out and takes multiple attempts for data to resync and then one you close the app it it logs out immediately. I am running the most recent version. Verizon needs to step up their game and fix this. Many people seem to have problems in the app but Verizon just collects our money while letting it continue to deteriorate. Take some of your $217 billion and make this functional for paying customers.

Do not get this app. I repeat, DO NOT GET THIS APP. Service is terrible. It’s the glitchiest app I’ve ever used. I had it saying I missed 34 phone calls in a row in less than 3 minutes. No one was calling. Couldn’t answer or reject the call. It just took over my phone and locked itself out while ringing constantly. On top of all this, Verizon reps in stores as well as multiple store managers have never even heard of this app or service. Good luck getting any help with this from anyone. Oh, also, when you call anyone from this terrible service the number is automatically marked as spam. Absolute worst app I have ever used. Good job Verizon with creating the worst product I’ve ever used.

I have been on the phone with Verizon Customer Service representatives for over three hours trying to fix an issue. The issue was that a blocked number calls my phone daily six times in a row, it rings half a ring end it doesn’t even tell me which of my numbers they’re trying to call. When you call customer service, they spend 30 minutes on the phone just looking up what MyNumbers is and then start transferring you all over the place because they are clueless. All of the numbers that I signed up for and have been paying for do not even show up in my dashboard. Garbage... Hot garbage.
Keypad does not work

I subscribed to get a new phone number for $15/month and in order to use it I needed to get the numbers app. After downloading and setting up, it seemed like the app worked fine. Until I needed to take a call and use the keypad. Any keypad presses (short or long) do not work no matter what I do. As a result, I cannot let people into my building which defeats the purpose of me using this service. While I am able to go let people in when I receive calls, not everyone who runs into this bug can, and this bug needs to be fixed ASAP. I have reported the bug through the app as well, but am posting here for visibility. To reproduce: 1. Call a numbers number. 2. Press any key on the keypad. Expected: key press is heard on the other line. Actual: key press is not heard at all. This was reproduced on iOS 14 and iOS 15.2 using an iPhone 12 Pro and the latest version of the numbers app as of 2021-12-26.

I love my numbers but the system kept screwing up and would delete my voice mail messages, so after having the my messages deleted for the 3rd time, I cancelled the subscription. It was very disappointing but the service has a potential to be better!
Does not work well

I have been using Verizon Mynumbers for almost 2 years now. It allows me to use one cell phone for personal and business. The problem is it is extremely unreliable. My personal iPhone and number works fine but the Mynumbers calls are intermittent at best. I often get incoming calls that do not pick up. I also often try to make calls that the phone delays for 6-10 seconds and then gives me a failed call message. I love the idea and for $15 a month it works OK but it is frustrating and not reliable at all…especially for business calls.
