Pervasive requests to connect FB friends and contacts

Really dislike the pressure to share my FB friends and contacts. Even after changing my settings to NOT share this information, the default screen when opening the app is the screen to connect with FB and my contacts. When signing up there isn’t a clear option to not share.. like a Not Now button. I’m suspicious of any app that is so demanding of my private information. Probably won’t use it unless there is no other option.

So far so good. SO MUCH BETTER THAN PAYPAL. I have endless issues with PayPal. So far Venmo does what I need it to do - just pay people.

I didn’t know I was supposed to verify. So now I can’t verify my account due to the fact that I can’t go far enough back on my online banking records to check what Venmo withdrew. Please add some kind of option to re-verify.
Newsfeed, really?

Having a newsfeed in Venmo is just stupid. No one cares about seeing that friend X paid friend Y. It has nothing to do with me. You are not a social network platform like Facebook. Get over it.
