Reasons I love velvet: 1. QUALITY matches. Seriously. 2. Low overhead & GREAT return for your time (see #1). I set up my profile in less than 5 minutes and it took less than a minute of maintenance a day. For someone who is really busy, that is a HUGE plus. 3. Format. Why complicate things unnecessarily? 4. Smart algorithm… by plugging into Facebook, it figures out who I am based on actual data, not who I *think* I am. 5. Privacy - I could choose how much personal information I wanted to reveal. 6. I found the AMAZING man I am going to marry this November <3

I have found that the low amount of potential daily matches relative to other apps actually helps to facilitate longer conversations with the matches I do get. Also users on this app seem to have a better idea of what they are looking for, which is definitely a positive thing for me.
