Good game

Danson 135

I mostly like this game. I wish you could build pathfinder corvettes though. It would also be cool if you could send resources to allies. There should also be a freighter class for this reason. Also, it would be neat if you could attack VEGA processing facilities and alien artifacts actually did something. But all and all, it's a pretty good game.

If you’re into garbage then this game is for you. If you’re into losing all your resources and get attacked 12 times in one day by someone higher than you then this game is for you. If you like developers who don’t care about the game, and only about filling their wallets then this game is for you. TL;DR this game should not be played by anyone who isn’t autistic.

Never seen another game like this one except Clash of Clans, and that game was trash. Glad this game was made really fun and realistic strategy game. With lots of time to risk a lots of things and weapons to make. Witch I've never seen in a game before. Very well done, excellent job developers, oh and I subscribed to your YouTube channel. Great content.

Huge Waste of Potential

DragonRunner

This game used to be fun. It used to be completely free to play. It used to have a huge social base of players to immerse yourself into a community. What does it have now??? Nothing. Vega been around for several years now. The only reason there are still any players is cuz they've dumped thousands of dollars... Not a joke... Into the game and that addiction or sense of investment holds them here like slaves. Kixeye the developer doesn't even bother fixing game flaws anymore unless the flaws affect their bottom line. Wouldn't be suprised to see vega servers shut down before the end of 2017. Not even slightly suprised. I can say this as an avid Vega player with over 2,000 in game hours put into it. If you are thinking about downloading this don't. If you still have it on your device, delete it. I wouldn't reccomend to anyone not even someone I hated to ever download a Kixeye game. And I can tell Kixeye now that I most certainly won't be seeing them around again.

Just say NO

This game used to be fun and challenging where they would reward skill in piloting with minimal repair. Now Kixeye has decided that this was not making enough money so they created PvE fleets that guarantee you suffer at least an hour or more of repair time. No amount of skill helps (aliens have MUCH greater range than you). This game has also gone from a very PvP game into a farming game. If you are not willing to put LOTS of money into a game (whales are spending at thousands or more a month) than forget it. Even if you have the money and are just about to start I would still warn you to stay away.

A pleasant surprise considering...

I’ve been a space game fanatic since the 80’s, unique if one takes into account my gender, age and the (usual) lack of availability of space-themed video games. At the beginning, I was dubious - to say the least. I figured the strategy elements would quickly lead to boredom. My past experience with strategy games had taught me that “research” is actually a euphemism for “hurry up and wait.” I never could figure out why some games had relatively extensive built-in lag periods. Anyway, I prefer the “other” 4x: mining, combat, exploration & trade. I expected I’d give up after about a month. . Because VEGA CONFLICT has a healthy balance of action AND strategy, it has kept me engaged. For example, I’d much prefer turn OFF the AI since I can lose without the help of software, thank you very much. I am old enough to make my own disastrous choices. Lol. In sum, VEGA CONFLICT is an action-packed, well balanced hybrid to satisfy an eclectic audience: enthusiasts of both strategy and space adventure sectors. So...If you have a hankering for a space themed game that challenges while stepping up your pulse rate, Vega Conflict just might be the game for you.

Used to be such a great game!

For a long time I played VC exclusively. I enjoyed hanging out with my alliance as a low level player, grinding out riots every two weeks and scoring the new tech released every month. It was fun being able to fit fleets with whatever I wanted and engaging them in PvP with others like me! Each player got to create their own play style with the tech they liked.. Since then, the game has strayed far from that. The grind is 24/7, not just every two weeks and once a month. There’s a constant stream of new tech, which is good, but this new tech completely nullifies other tech we grinded for weeks before. Keeping up is nearly impossible unless a TON of money is spent. By the time a ship is built, which can take upwards of a week and a half—nearly half a month or more for others, the tech you were equipping is completely outdated. The player-base has since dwindled in size to only a fraction of what it once was. Many well-known alliances have disbanded and all of the sectors hold little-to-no activity. The game is complete trash now. I hate doing this since this game used to be so fun and enjoyable for me, but I highly, highly suggest finding something else to play. This game is no longer fun. Until Kixeye decides the game is dying, which they won’t because they have quite the reputation for killing games, VEGA Conflict will continue to be the broken farm fest it is now. Regards, A player for three years with around 3 months of in-game time, InvadingDingo.
