This game has become one of the generic micro transaction mobile games now. I used to love it, but you have to grind SO long to actually get what you want. The only other option is wasting money. Fix your game, or you’ll be just like EA.

The game was fun a few years ago I just downloaded it again but the developers have ruined it you have to spend more money to build up a fleet and repairing is awful.

This game was amazing back in the day... I mean.. I would spend countless hours grinding, playing with friends, and just having the time of my life.. because this game was great..... but now it takes months just to build a few ships, and by the time they’re built, new ships that take even longer to build have already come out.... so what I’m saying is, if you’re not paying loads of money, you’re not winning... you’re not even keeping up... unless you enjoy spending thousands of dollars on a mobile game for a few ships, don’t even touch this game. Kix.... listen to your fan base.

My favorite ios game ever. I’ve had it for as long as I can remember. But. Between work and playing the game every night possible it’s officially impossible to progress any further. I’ve made slow progress all these years until now. They have all this new tech that cuts through my stuff like butter. And the only way to get any new stuff is to have spent hundreds of dollars on their precious coins or have a level 100+ fleet. Now not even a 100+ fleet has a chance from my perspective. What with the 140+ enemies. (Enemies are never ranked fairly. Level 70’s perform like level 100’s) I’m stalemated in the game with no chance of redemption. I want my money reimbursed asap. I didn’t invest in the game all these years to be treated like this. I don’t play games with rewards that are out of my reach. And I certainly don’t appreciate it. Or at least a ship in my daily reward. SOMETHING to help out someone who is one vip level away from max vip status and yet has no chance. I deserve to be reimbursed; seeing as how the game is no longer playable for me. Have a heart guys. Jeezus.

In 2015 this game had mechanics where skill alone made you significantly superior in combat... Now its how much time you have with mommy’s credit card. KIXEYE introduced “VIP” which for every rank you PAY for you get increased base health, weapon damage, and other perks. Building time for most ships are atrocious - 14hrs to repair one advanced battleship (meaning it will take days for you to repair entire fleets, if not weeks) after loosing a 3 minute battle. Want to avoid the wait? Buy coins. Want the shiny ship? Well, you COULD work for it but by the time you EARN it half of the kiddos with mom’s credit card have already got it enough to decimate your fleets already. Pay-to-win should be illegal; KIXEYE knows that their game is addictive which is especially true for the adolescent brain. They are using this psychological weakness to their advantage by indirectly requiring you to pay in order to have an advantage in combat. This is, again, a huge slap in the face for those (like myself) who spent years with this community trying to EARN our way to the top. Overall, VEGA conflict is valueless to the player and discriminates against the poor. Unless you are rich and have access to your parent’s credit card, you will not get very far in this game.

Its a scam at its core if you want to keep up with anything you spend money after you reach mid game. The newest ships are so OP you can’t kill one without at least a days repair and thats just one bastion vs your whole 6 xeno ships but the overdrive makes it demolish all ships without any problem. Coins, the most valuable thing in the game, cant even be earned unless its 5 for 1 mission a day yet for 20$ you can get a 1000 with an extra 50 coins!! No we need better ways to earn coins cause the commerce module giving out 25 a day max is 120 days to get 3000 coins to buy 1 bastion cruiser and thats if u either bought enough coins to spend so that u can upgrade it to max or wait 2yrs to get enough to max it out. Then the new ships have resistance to everything there is including the marauders which is supposed to be impossible and rare so... hope this helped

Welp it’s been 3-2 years and is this game good? Well it’s complicated and I don’t know where to put this it’s like a sinking ship and I’m in the middle do I go down with it? Or do I go to the capital and yell at him for want idiot dose not see a iceberg 2 feet away?! Well at this point I would be banging at the capital door but I have made friends and I have made it about 40% of the game as I’m a level 40 and have a very strong ship that I don’t want to loss and I have made a name for my self in at lest one sector for atlest a few days walking away from this game will mean walking away from years of progress years of fun years of friendships let me make this clear as far as clan/groups go this game is the biggest contender on that first thing you want to do is join a public clan and then make friends and join a private clan steadily grow your base don’t get impatient don’t attack anyone even if the game tells you to attacking anyone in a clan or anyone at all is a good way to get attacked back making friends is a good way to make sure you don’t get attacked your self But what makes this far far far far from the best game ever Is the timers ALL.OF.THE.TIMERS! Everything you do has a timer that makes this game awful and the timers are so long why!? WHY!? Why don’t you want people to play your game? You made this game and you don’t want people to play it? Why? This makes no sense gold could have been for like resources or ships or something other then timers! I hate timers you want me to wait for something to happen? No fun here until...what’s that? 18 years so come back in 18 years ok? Of course it’s not 18 years it’s days for anything to happen why? This saddens me because I love this game I love the combat I love the way it’s designed I love how even if you have a bad ship your skillz can save you I love that I may not have the better ship but I can still have a chance Well anyway take out most timer or at least make them not as intense and this game will be better and amazing

Vega Conflict is a sort of sci-fi strategy game focusing more on Fleet vs. Fleet rather than Fleet vs. Base which I find as a seasoned player to be a more original and entertaining style of gameplay than many other games. This game though has fallen victim to developer greed making it difficult for the more casual players to enjoy the game but there are ways to minimize this problem such as spending some money to build a starter fleet to farm events and progress in the game. Another large drawback is the insane build and repair times of even some of the lower tier ships forcing you to spend more money on the game to quote “pay to play” and this is not even pay to win. In short this is a great game with developers that just need to refine the way they manage the most basic mechanics to keep the game enjoyable and hopefully alive.

They bilked me out of money, (ordered coins and never came) and won’t give it back....and every update, there is a two-three day period where you can’t access the game. Either the new fix comes, and they don’t make you update, or they do make you update , doesn’t matter, after the update you try to log on, and it sits there like a (...fill in expletive)... Like any game addict, you think the next fix or update is going to change it, but it keeps on getting worse and worse. Save yourself. Don’t buy into this dumpster fire.
