Better since update

I was about to cancel the service, then tried latest version. Much better response and response times. Needs more functionality to earn 5 stars. Smith Thompson Houston.*update* newest update that auto-logs out after 60 seconds is a deal breaker. It would be okay if this were an option, but it is not. Fix this ASAP or I am canceling service to this app! Downgraded to 1 star. FIX the auto logging out! It should be our option!!! App is crap now.

Not perfect but does what it says

Unlike the other reviewers I am going to give this app 4 stars since it does exactly what it is advertised to do. I like being able to arm and disarm from anywhere. I don't have to give any one like the maid my alarm code any more. I like that I can get push notifications about alarms and see arm/disarm activity from my phone. Like the other reviewers, I will say that not having the option to stay logged in is pretty silly. I understand it is a security system though and if someone got your phone they could technically disable your alarm if you didn't have a passcode protected phone. But at least give us the option. Or better idea, use the Touch ID. Or even better than that, create an arm/disarm widget with Touch ID! The auto logout pretty much renders the app useless as an everyday tool since it's easier to push the button on the keypad than go through the login on the app. But as a truly remote tool it works fine.

Get it done better

This app needs a lot of improvements I have 2 alarms in this app I can't tell which alarm is armed or unarmed without a lot of cumbersome key strokes. I will not be switching my other alarms until this app is improved. I hope the developer takes some pride and fixes this app.

I don't even have to type anything into the password field, press accept, and then I'm in my account. I typed a bunch of gibberish in for the password and it was accepted. You have basically opened up a huge security breach. My home is open to anyone with access to my email address. You should fix this.

Functional but needs work

This app works but the auto logout is annoying. It desperately needs Touch ID support. I simply went back to using the web interface. At least with that it's possible to stay logged in.

This app undermines any security system - if it doesn't log you out as it takes to long to enter your PW then it logs you out due to inactivity (even on wifi) when it falls to alarm or disarm. I've had numerous issues due to this unresponsive app. Get your act together and FIX IT!!!

New version with keep me logged in is a huge upgrade. The loss of a star because it cannot arm to "stay" mode.

The auto logout is fixed!! Great job now please add some features.. Most important missing feature is stay alarm.. 3 stars for missing basic functionality. -panic alarm -duress alarm (silent alarm to dispatch police) -stay (bypass motion detector) -away mode (all sensors on) -auto arm when outside geofence -finger print login iPhone 5s/6 support Thanks

Please add a function to set the alarm in "Stay" mode. We often have to leave our two large dogs in the house alone while we run errands. It is essential for UplinkRemote to be able to set the alarm in "Stay" mode, especially for dog sitters. Otherwise UplinkRemote provides great convenience and security. "Keep me logged on" is great!
