good and bad

Al iphone

This App has a lot of features that I would like to have in a Notetaker, type or longhand, insert pictures, simple drawings, easy access to Dropbox. However, it has some very significant problems. It crashes frequently, the interface is complicated, and it is not set up for continuous note taking where you want to just keep taking notes without having to save or move a box. In summary, it could be good but right now has serious problems.

Hmmmm

Guybrush0

Tricky to use, hand writing recognition isn't built in, it costs $3 extra!

It is just to complicated

GigIrishChef

I wanted this program to work as I can see its potential. But it is away to complicated. It is possible that I am just not smart enough to us this program.

Flexible

Ommas

After 1 day of trying to explore the features. The program covers a wide range data from . This platform may just be a perfect app for brainstorming and collaboration. Where some ideas only make sense as text or voice , the other ideas can be drawn. What I'm saying this is the easiest go to app for getting concepts from thoughts to digital, and out to the Internet. Yet at the same time great basic features when things need to be simple.

A lot better

I'd say for the large amount of features it's great. The only thing I don't like is the way it zooms. But this app does stuff that I can't even do on my desktop (at least for $2) and I was surprised.

Nifty little tool

Wendalina lulu

I got this because of the handwriting application, and that works great actually, but I've found that I'm much fast at typing. I love that I can insert drawn images into my notes. I have several notebooks started. My only problem is that I don't know how to export content from a notebook out of this app. Is it possible? I do use this app more than any other on my iPad. It has been extremely helpful in keeping me organized.

Like it a lot, but...

nptnezwiminlung

I really like it as a writer, especially it's ability to magnifying ability, But it has a tendency to erase patches. No idea why. Also...Eraser function is slightly annoying because it can't erase well and it's awkward. Also, the green wrist shield doesn't work. I even watched tutorials and followed them the way they were done... Oh, also, I write fast, doesn't keep up. Patches of words missing... Please fix these bugs, I'll give it 5

DO NOT BUY THIS!

jlteager

Foolishly I purchased this and the add on software and now can not get any of it to work. It crashes quite a bit and erases your work when moving the page. DO NOT BUY THIS!

The real story on Notify

Wolkenstein der Einaugig

This an excellent app. It deserves much better press than the single brief, entirely negative "review" it has received so far. For all we know, Notify may have failed for this disgruntled user because he was trying to use it on a knockoff or inferior iPhone. I have been using it on an iPad with Ios 5, and I can assure yout that it can do marvelous things. It has never once quit on me yet. I also installed the separate WritePad OCR app, which works very well with Notify. Only one or two small drawbacks to Notify, which have to do more with its very rich features set than with poor programming practices: it has a somewhat steep learning curve if you work with the help file alone, and the author's visual tutorial clips go by at a breathless pace, requiring several viewings before it all sinks in completely. You could hardly expect anything else with a program as versatile as this one. Highly recommended.

Do not update

Jessikatm

Used this with general success for a month. Only complaint that you have to write fairly slowly for it to pick it up. Updated it yesterday and it no longer supports google docs versions of ppt, spreadsheets or other non text file types. Ppt was the whole reason I bought it.
