It’s cross-platform and very reliable. The only ding is the lack of logos.

I have used many different Two-Factor Authentication client apps out there, this is the one I’ve settled on mainly due to its cross-platform syncing features.

You do not want google prompt as it collects your location and other intrusive app data. You do not want google authentication because it’s bare bones and pain to quickly find the site and code that you want. You want Authy.

This app when I first got it worked great but now every time I try to log in it just keeps crashing and I can't log into my accounts. Please fix soon

The iPhone app is pretty good and I like a lot of what it’s doing, but the Apple Watch app needs some work. I have a lot of accounts in Authy, and when I launch the Apple Watch app on a Series 1 Apple Watch, the list of accounts thrashes repeatedly between two partial sets of accounts, and does not scroll smoothly. It is possible to tap on a visible account if you time it right, but often I need to find a specific account in the list, and it is either not in either subset or I can’t easily scroll to is due to the view continually resetting while thrashing between the two sets of accounts. I don’t know if this would be improved by a newer watch or a fewer number of accounts, but I really think this should be a solvable problem with some code improvements.

I’ve used Authy for a few years now across multiple devices and it always works like a charm. I have installed it on multiple phones and restored from backups with 0 issues and wouldn’t be nearly as jazzed with doing 2FA without the ease it brings.

Changes made in one device do not show on others, you have to reset the app on that device to get changes. No grouping, some items use their own name that you cannot change.

I’m glad I chose this app for 2FA. Convenient and backups for transferring devices. Just use it.
