They Spam You to Death

I have to agree that they intentionally cripple the website and constantly badger you to download the app so you can see more. Literally seconds after downloading the app I started getting spam from TripAdvisor to my email I used to log into the app. I guess some people may find this useful but it is irritating. TripAdvisor has good info but at this point it's not worth the hassle and who knows what data their mining when I use the app. Only after 72 hours this app is deleted.

The app is amazingly friendly. Easy to use. I most use it for Hotels, Restaurants and Top things to do. The reviews are accurate. And very very helpful in making your entire holiday/ business travel pleasurable.

Cannot upload a profile pic, or can I!? I shouldn't have to ask. Not easy to navigate nor update in real time. It doesn't show my reviews although I can see my contribution level and points. A crappy app for a great site!

I use this a lot to research locations and hotels. Easy to use, reasonably comprehensive, and finds good rates for locations that we travel. Like most apps however, sometimes it just goes away and I have to start over. Prefer web sites to apps, but this one works well on my iPad.

We have used the Trip Advisor app to find everything from restaurants to hotels and places to visit both near and far. We try to eat at a top 10 restaurant every city we visit and love to take pictures and read reviews. Pretty reliable place to get info! Great place to discover hidden gems!

Can be a little slow sometimes, but it's pretty solid. Gives you all the information you need, easy to use, has usable features.

Very useful app for travel planning. I really prefer the TripScouts app, for its great curated suggestions and offline maps, but it's not available in all cities. For cities not covered by TripScouts, TripAdvisor is really handy
