It may not be perfect, but I find myself using it all the time. Never really crashes, easy to navigate and find what you want. I need to do a better job writing more reviews, collectively we can help each make great decisions about travel. Love it.

This app is great. But what makes up most of its greatness is the content and user base. I'm rarely lead astray by Trip Advisor.
Recent update stuck in waiting mode

I love trip advisor. However, I can't use it. Can't delete it. Can't reinstall it. It is stuck in waiting mode. Help desk is no help, because it only refers to how to use app. I would use app if it would unstick itself!

This app is not all inclusive so don't depend on it to show you all the possibilities. Still, what it does have is a great start and very recent reviews that are generally accurate.

It seems that quite a few people here couldn't figure out that the App Store is where we're supposed to leave reviews for the TripAdvisor APP. We ARE NOT actually IN the TripAdvisor app ITSELF right now! Don't leave reviews here of the hotel you stayed in last week! That's what the app is for! Is this really that difficult to figure out? OK, now that THAT'S done, as an app, TripAdvisor is absolutely ESSENTIAL. And manages to look good while being so!
Crashes and my in-progress reviews gone

While I wrote reviews for restaurant the app would crash for no apparent reasons, MULTIPLE TIMES in the amount of time as short as 15 mins, and my in-progress reviews would disappear. Absolutely normal review writing with no fancy texts or photos attached. This really needs to be fixed or users like me avoid creating any more reviews on TripAdvisor. It is very frustrating!
