Only one option

Tried to get a ticket from Heidelberg to Paris at 10:00 am. Gives me only one choice at 16:00 and nothing else. There are many other choices available on internet. Price is more expensive than internet. App will be deleted now.

Captain Train update

Only way I use for train tickets in Italy and France. Easy to use, gives you plenty of choices. Recommend it.

Love this app!

So easy, no extra fees when booking tickets. The app works great at home and abroad. No complaints! Love it.

My favorite app for European trains!

SeaDragonfly

Great app that has an excellent translation feature, so there's no misunderstanding when buying tickets in English. Finding your station is very simple compared to other sites I've used. Thanks for making train tickets easy to buy!

Does NOT cover all of Europe!

No schedules from Hungary, so Trainline Europe is a misrepresentation. Have not checked all of the other European countries yet to see if they are all included in timetables.

Easy and very powerful tool

I'm in heaven with this powerful planning tool. It is so easy to see all train routes and prices throughout Europe and one click you have your ticket in your phone ready every time the conductor comes by.

Highly recommended

This app worked perfectly during our recent visit to France. We used it six times in a two week period with never a glitch. For us the primary advantage lay in the ticket delivery system, because you can get an e-mail with a PDF attachment which you can then put where you like and subsequently display to the conductor (we stored ours in iBooks). So no need to find a printer or use the "print at station" alternative which I dislike. The alternative Voyages-SNCF app doesn't use e-mail but uses your mobile phone number to deliver the tickets, which would be fine except that it only accepts numbers beginning with 06 or 07 (French mobile numbers), which is a practical deterrent to anyone using a non-French phone. As with Trainline, the Voyages-SNCF app does provide a "print at station" alternative but, as I said before, I dislike that system. I highly recommend the Trainline system.
