The ticketing process is very convenient and streamlined. It only took me few minutes to book. The app is user friendly too. I would recommend this app and ticketing process.

The app is easy to use, gives multiple options, and good information about the train amenities and connections (including connection time between trains). For an old couple who are not very fluent in any language but English, the app is great.

Easy to use but if there is a problem you are on your own. No number to call and no response to email. The SNCF strike disrupted one leg of a multi-leg journey and the only option Trainline offered was to cancel the entire trip- no exchanges were possible- at a significant loss. You are much better off booking with the rail companies where one can actually get some customer support.

After hours spent to no avail on the Spanish Railways website, I was able to purchase the train tickets I needed in less than five minutes using Trainline. I highly recommend it!
Doesn't provide ALL routes, but gives the best

I've been searching for a European train app for (mostly) research and planning purposes. Until now, iRail was the best. In my tests, Trainline provides most (not all) of your train route options, but it does provide the fastest routes. I mean, why choose the one option which takes an hour longer? While I tend to want to make the most informed decision and know all my options, the truth is, I would never take the least efficient option, so Trainline EU is my new go-to train app.. Another plus: a great help section! I like that they provide known strike information and user recourse.

Why am I looking at this app and Trenitalia website and tickets in this app are $20. Vs 12 on the website??? I’d love to know! This is milking the prices...OTHERWISE, book direct from a website, it’s cheaper!
