Helpful, but some quirks
LuvAllThingsApple

This is a great app for not only students on the autism spectrum, but also for ELLs (English Language Learners, for the lay people out there). However, you have to fix several issues, such as a baby being identified as a boy when you can't really discern the gender in the picture, and the girl who is smiling with her hands on each side of her face not being considered "happy," and the picture of the smiling boy in the same photo with a girl being a correct choice for "pick the smiling boy.". I agree with a previous reviewer that if you focused on the emotion only, rather than throwing gender and age into the mix, it would be a better app. Regardless, remove the confusion and you folks have a five star app!

Not my favorite
NicoleABA

There is too much ambiguity with the pictures.

Great Application for Students!
KB6000

This application has been one of the best that I have used for my students. I teach English language to beginners and this app allowed my students to learn nouns, adjectives, and verbs. My students were able to listen and focus and the pictures were beautiful. My student have really been able to add their own images and labels. We spent a lot of time on vocabulary and we were able to adjust and modify the nouns and verbs. I can't wait for your next installment!!! You have really created something wonderful for teachers and students alike. I am very impressed! Thank you!

Love how it can be customized.

If you don't think a picture matches the description? change it!! I also use pictures of my client and his family to help him practice reading their emotions. Overall great app.

Gender/Age confusion
SLP-betty

I love the quality of the pix in this app, and the woman's voice. My only complaint is the ambiguity in some of the pictures. It is very difficult to tell the boys from the girls in many cases- the boys have long wavy hair and look like girls. Sometimes it is difficult to distinguish the age variations, too. There isn't much difference in the babies and toddlers, and sometimes between the children vs teenagers or teenagers vs adults. I would think you would design these with NO ambiguity so that the focus could be on the emotions on the faces of the distinct people.

I want the old app back.
Moo Map

I liked it the way it was. This is too simple.

Old version useful
Memo mom

The old app was better. My daughter learned more from it because it had more to offer. Could you have two different apps, one with just emotions and one with everything? Maybe add even more into the everything app?

Bug loves it
Sundeasmd

I give this app 5 stars just the way it is. I have not updated it. My daughter is seven and has c. p. this is one of her favorite apps. I find it is easy for her to use, and she is very vocal while playing.

So much potential with advanced features.
EJN916

The advanced features were great! I'm afraid if I update I won't have the same features I was looking forward to using with my speech and language kids. I just downloaded the app last week, but could see so much potential in the customizing options for future speech therapy sessions. If I update will I lose these features?

2 stars
NY MD

My brother has autism and I got this app for him. What I don't understand is that it only goes sideways and doesn't ask you what emotion it is. So now, it's pretty much worthless and doesnt help at all.
