Real faces and people...

My son needed to identify emotions and this software provides a good start. some of the photos did not match the emotion as well as I would have liked, especially when two or three would fit the emotion you were looking for. Thank you

I use this app in my class with students who have difficulties identifying emotions. They enjoy playing with this app.

Hi, I do like this app. I am an SLP and recommend that you only allow for one correct answer in the array at a time. It is difficult to teach students/clients to analyze facial expression when two similar pictures appear and either is scored as correct. Thanks!

Eh

Yay times 2!

More than one picture to display similar emotions is fine with me, and having each picture represent more than one emotion is also acceptable. I do not like, though, when there is not more than one correct answer choice. Very frustrating for me and my students alike.

Fabulous

Wish I could put my students' pictures on the app.

Almost perfect

I agree, this app can frustrating as there is not always one correct answer/reading of an emotion picture! But is not that the hard part of reading emotions? I try and incorporate the variable component in the learning.

Learning Experience? Heck no!

Of all the apps I have ever purchased or downloaded in my entire life, this is by far the worst one I have ever seen. The pictures are repetitive, the voice is annoying, and some of the feelings don't really go with the picture most of the time. For example, when the voice asked for something "silly", all the pictures have someone smiling. In the end, the app showed that the answer was the little girl who looked rather frustrated than silly. But it's not just that; there are also times when it comes down to two pictures for smiling and I just guess and get it right 50/50 of the time. If both are smiling, I would just pick one and hope for the best. That is the biggest letdown of the app. At the beginning of downloading this app, I expected myself, an autistic 16 year old, to get further knowledge on feelings. But, in the end, it was just an awful mess that could be better off made by a 7 year old. Please, spare your time and DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!

Touch and Learn- Emotions

Touch and Learn - Emotions, this app features 4 real person pictures per page or emotion with the target emotion featured in text in center of page. The word is spoken and the user will choose a picture. Correct responses will get a "you're great" incorrect responses will get a sound to indicate to try again. The settings button will show many sections to change the game play as well as a section about this app. Apps created by Grasshopper apps prove time and time again that the developer puts much thought and care into their creation. There is a small button to take you to more apps to purchase, but does not intrude on game play. This is an excellent app for teaching a child to recognize facial expressions for given emotion.

This will be great for my pre-k students! I like how you can customize it also! Can't wait to try it out with them!
