Do Not UPDATE!!

Ajoy4422

I should have read the reviews... But I so rarely update apps when things are going well.. And stupid me hit update all.. Now I've lost EVERYTHING much to my dismay.. I'm heartbroken. All my milestones all my documentation for the doctors visits.. Gone. Do. Not.update. I HATE THE CREATORS OF THIS APP FOR DOING THIS!!!!

Update is awful

winegirl27

My husband and I can no longer sync and we have no clue what each other has done with the twins for the day. At first I loved it but now I'm thinking I will have to switch over to another app. It makes me so sad because it was so great for tracking...especially with my preemies and my IUGR baby. Her feeds aren't just "nice to know" they are medically necessary since she has growth issues. What was once my amazing go to source t bleep track of my tiny daughters growth and food is now horribly annoying. Please update it again and get rid of all these bugs!

Update is broken

Appleman3899

Can't change sleep timer start time now. No previous times show (area is blank). Please TEST your updates before releasing them.

Syncing issues between parents

LX8888

Syncing between parents doesn't work, and customer service doesn't respond to inquiries, which is frustrating for a paid app. This app has a lot of great features, but the recent update caused a lot of issues (syncing and disappearing timers).

Update ruined the app

Crashy crashy

For the past two weeks my wife's and my phone haven't been syncing unless we constantly log out and back in again. We paid the upgrade fee way back when we had to, and now the app is pretty much useless to us.

Awful

They did something and rebooted this app, and I thought I had lost every single precious milestone of my 2nd born! I emailed them constantly and never got anything back. I have the information back now, but save yourself from a heart attack and go with another app. They lost all credibility in my book.

Quality getting worse and worse!

gnguyen

The usability got worse with the big design overhaul, the slowing responsiveness of the app has become very frustrating, and syncing between devices has just stopped working. Good thing we're just about done needing this app.

It used to be amazing

Since the update, this app is not syncing properly. Very disappointed ?

Now requires you create an account to even access old data & Lacks iCloud support

Dookie 2x

Horrible updates since they moved to 4.5 and newer and their desire to own your family's personal medical information by forcing you to move to their cloud solution. Given the nature of information stored in Total Baby - including medical information this move seems suspect given they're not demonstrating compliance in how they are handling medical records. They should go back to the old model where we remain in control with local records. The Bad (new to 4.5) They are now requiring you to create an account and register yourself with them even if you've been using the app for years. You can't even see your kids data anymore until you register and create an account. While they offer it as an improvement to allow for syncing of data across your  devices they would have served their users better if they used iCloud instead. It's free, relies on encrypted syncs, and entrusts your personal family data to a trusted location which you maintain and have access to. They're now wanting to have access to your data where as before this version it resided only on your devices. This is really disappointing. With all of this and the fact that we store medical history and details about our kids (great for vaccine records, growth charts, and general doctors visits), do they even comply with privacy standards like HIPAA in the US? Even their own privacy policy mentions allowing users to maintain their data private and stored locally on our devices and not their cloud. This update eliminates that option. What was great about the app: Use it to chart progress, doctors visits and most importantly keep a current log of vaccinations which comes in super handy often. The only drawback is the sync function which lacks iCloud integration. Personal information without full access to what and how it's stored on a private server is not inspiring. With iCloud I can easily see what log files are stored, I can delete as needed and know that  iCloud is encrypted and well protected.
