I really do love this app. I tried using Outlook tasks for task management for a long time and it was just totally insufficient. This app works wonderfully across different platforms. I use it on my iPad, my iPhone, and on my desktop and it's flawless. That was the criteria that I was using to select an application. It is very simple and yet has a depth of functionality that works very well. I love the fact that I can attach documents and other attachments to a task, among other features. Highly recommended

How do you use this thing

I recently downloaded this for work as per my manager. It's extremely difficult to operate, I feel like there are more options then you'll ever need on a to do list. The name is almost clever and then I just hate seeing it spelled out. It looks like a typo. The whole all is wack.

Love with a bug

Let me start by saying I LOVE ToDoist. My life is in here. It's perfect for GTD (and if you ask the people around me, they'll tell you I'm superwoman... I just laugh and think to myself "no, I just have ToDoist")... And ToDoist is now native on the watch so there's a complication! Yay for that. With that said... - Templates are still TERRIBLE... Give us a "copy as template" button with key dates (i.e. Start, stop and milestones) - No start dates - There's no way to add an iCloud Drive or Evernote documents to the comments of a task - No way to sort tasks by date, priority or name on iOS (regular view or filters) - There's no way to bulk assign labels (which is very annoying) - I wish there was a pomodoro timer on the app but that would just be a bonus - Every time you close out of the app, it goes back to the today view. I want it to stay on the filter I was just on so I can focus on those tasks. Those are the features we've ALL been asking for and it seems like you guys are completely ignoring us. Stop focusing on aesthetics and start focusing on functionality! GIVE US WHAT WE WANT! (Please).

iPhone App Crashes Immediately

Help! iPad and Mac Apps work great. I just renewed to premium and wouldn't you know it--the place I need it most doesn't work. Otherwise, superb on the other platforms and I highly recommend Todoist...5 stars.

Crashes on opening!?!?!!????

Can't tell how this update is better since I can't use the app now :-(

Great functionality embedded in clean & simple interface. Connects seamlessly with Airmail on my Mac and Dispatch on my iPad and iPhone (among others). But the feature I like most is the ease with which I can move individual "todo's" within any category or "project" to quickly do daily triage. I like to focus on only one thing at a time and to have the next two or three lined up right behind what I'm focused on at a give time. I can't overstate how helpful that simple feature is to me! Marvelous todo app. I've purchased most, if not all, of the highly rated todo apps over the last 12 or so years and finally settled in with todoist about 3 months ago.

Most Versatile Todo App in Need of a Few Improvements

I've been using Todoist premium for about 10 months and it is truly an incredible task manager. I love how you can access it online and it syncs perfectly across all platforms. The ability to type due dates, times, labels, and priorities into the task without have to choose all those things separately is what truly sets this app apart in my opinion. I have tried almost all of the other best todo apps such as Omnifocus, Things, Clear, Any.Do, 2Do, and while I like all of them only Omnifocus is in competition with Todoist. The biggest con is the price. You are going to have to pay $30 a year to access everything in Todoist. The free version is adequate but you might as well use another app if you aren't going to pay for the premium version. Omnifocus is of course more expensive at $40 for the iOS app and another $20 if you want to customize Contexts and a few other things but at least these are one time purchases and not a yearly subscription. I'm sticking with Todoist for now even after dumping so much money into both apps. There are two things that I think Todoist needs to add right away though. They need to add a quick add button for the inbox that is visible on every screen much like Omnifocus has. They also need to add force touch options while in the app such as peek and pop for tasks and further options from there such as changing the due date and so forth. Overall, this is a great task manager app and it has helped me immensely.
