Useful app but!!!

SBI App hater

Very useful app that I have been using for many years now, but with new design app doesn’t even show the badge alert unless you open the app. I have tried every possible way, it’s not working. Without the alert notification, this app is useless. Please check and fix or give instructions to enable the alert.

Having to open the app to see due tasks

having to open the app constantly because due tasks are not showing in the app as a notification. very annoying.

Now I can delete it

Forced to version 10 so now I can finally delete it and move on. Going to Microsoft ToDo for now. Maybe after Appigo loses all their users they might reconsider the forced upgrade.

Deleted my data

I don’t expect an app I purchase to stay operational forever, so I wasn’t surprised by the black bars on top and bottom of the screen on my iPhone XR. However, I *also* don’t expect my app to be remotely deleted because the company decides I must upgrade. Not only did it replace the old version with the new “v10”, it also deleted the years worth of todo items I had stored. Requiring a third party account signup with a high renewal price isn’t a good way to encourage me to switch to the new version. I’m instead going to switch to a different app.

Thieves!

How can you pull this?! I was happy with my todo 8, but did an ‘upgrade all’ from the AppStore to get rid of all the red update notifications, and you replaced it with Todo 10 which is a subscription pay app!!!??? Then you say Todo 8 is no longer supported? I just had it on my phone!

Not as good now

The free version states “all the functionality you’d expect in a to-do list and task management app”. Not true - I could not add a recurring task, which I could do before. I paid for a month so I could do so, but haven’t decided if I’ll renew. I set my preferences so that my “Home” list is the default, but it stills put them in the inbox. Also, I used to be able to set all the parameters of a task before it was added to the list. Unless I’m missing something, it adds the task with just the description, then I have to find it and edit it. Edited to add: I have found that if I hit “return” instead of “done” after adding the task description, the task stays above my keyboard. I click on “Today >” and am able to set the parameters of that task before clicking “Done”. No more dumping my task at the bottom of the list. It still defaults to the Inbox, even though I changed the setting. I did purchase a 1-year subscription so that I have more time to experiment with Todo and other apps like it before I make my final decision.

Don’t change my options w/o telling me in advance

This app was in my inventory for many years and I was overall very (!!!!) happy with it. Needless to say I had quite an setup of tasks and projects, tags, etc. pp.. I believe over the years I paid twice or maybe three times the purchasing price for upgrades, which is more than fine. I would have paid again. It was well worth it. This last upgrade the developer Appigo decided to upgrade me to their own cloud subscription version - which happened without user notification. And, without subscribing to the new solution (albeit for free) I did not have access to my existing task lists. So, thank you, but no thank you - and thanks for all the fish. There is plenty of you out there and you are not it.

I woke up this morning to find that Todo had updated itself to version 10 and that all of my tasks were GONE. Thanks a lot ?
