All-around NOT user-friendly, barely works most of the time

I’ve been using this app for years now, and it’s only gotten worse. It finally hit a point in the past several months where it has become unusable. Here are the biggest issues as I’ve experienced them in 2021: 1) absolutely no user feedback on whether casting or cable signing has been successful or if there is an issue. You’ll attempt to cast or sign in and see a spinning loading wheel. It stops spinning after 3-4 minutes, so you try again. And again. And again. And again (x100). The app leaves troubleshooting 100% up to the user and never gives a message that sign-in or casting is unsuccessful. Did it connect? Why didn’t it? Who knows. 2) casting flat-out does not work. It worked a few years ago, but attempting to cast from and to any device simply times out. See #1 for lack of troubleshooting, guidance, and feedback. 3) Did you miss what someone just said and want to rewind by 10 seconds? Even if you’re nowhere near a commercial break, be prepared to watch five minutes of full-length ads just to rewind by 10 seconds. There is NO ability to rewind via PC, iPhone, or Android that doesn’t seem to make you watch the ads yet again. If you are fine with not being able to rewind even for a few seconds without six additional ads, not being able to cast to any device, and the app constantly displaying a spinning wheel every time you attempt to connect to ANY account, I’m sure this app is fine for you. For everyone else, choose literally any other method to stream TLC shows. This app has all the pitfalls of streaming illegally, even if you’re trying to connect via your legal cable subscription and using the latest software and hardware. A sadist and masochist designed this app.

I can’t even open the app and login because this app keeps crashing. I even deleted and re-downloaded the app and it still doesn’t work. The app crashes on my Roku as well.

This is genuinely one of the worst apps I’ve ever had the displeasure of operating. It is constantly giving me errors and generally being completely unusable. The last two months have been spent with it refusing to acknowledge my subscription and locking me out of episodes. I’ve done all of the usual logging out and back in. Deleting. Anything anyone has suggested. I got it to let me in once, and was then locked back out and told it was only for “paid subscription members” mid episode. I’ve deleted the app and this is the best it’s ever functioned honestly.

Signs me out of Xfinity every time I close the app, NEVER saves my place during shows, when I go to continue watching the show I was just watching has never been there once. This app needs some major work. I’m very tempted to just delete the app tbh.
TV subscription?

It’s 2022, Get with the times. Have a $10 subscription model like everyone else. Cable is for boomers, and will be dead in the near future. I cannot believe there are still streaming services that require this.
Always some issue

I can hardly use this app because it consistently says the content is available to viewers who have TLC as part of their paid subscription. Of course I do have it but this message pops up all the time and doesn’t allow access. This happens even when I log into Xfinity and their logo is showing. Don’t know what else to do except I’ll probably switch to shows that are on other channels, maybe Bravo or E.
