It’s not perfect but it’s amazing! It’s such a great tool for learning about so many topics and also for studying for quizzes, tests, etc.

Keep up with the great work. I couldn’t be able to learn the things I have without Tiny cards and Duolingo. Tinycards has been great for me learning Spanish and now sign language, possibly other languages. I can’t wait to see where y’all take this. Thanks again.

I like this app more than quizlet because it looks better and I like having pictures go along with my flash cards. It’s a good app and I would recommend.

In general, TinyCards is a great app. My primary criticism is the typing answers function—if one gets a card wrong, the next time you’re quizzed on it with a typed response, there will be a faded out solution in the background, and this feature cannot be turned off. Frankly, I hate that in particular. If it were entirely optional, that would be no issue, but the only thing preventing me from a five star rating is that I have to either be perfect from the start or feel like a student getting the answer whispered to me by a classmate. Other than that, a dark mode would be fantastic, but isn’t necessary, and that’s about it.

I really like this app! It is great that you can make your own virtual flash card decks and you can really make some great stuff! (cough cough Pokemon FLASH) As I said this is a very good app and you can use it to learn new languages or just have some fun!

I am using the app to compliment the duolingo app and learning Italian. I agree with the other (Italian language) users that the cards do not indicate if you are looking for plural or singular so you get them wrong when you could have gotten them correct if the card indicated which form they were asking for. Also there are inconsistencies with with duolingo such as the use of "dish" and "plate". Tiny cards uses the term "dish" and duolingo used the term "plate". Unless you keep the two straight as to which term to use for whatever app you happen to be on, you get them wrong. Also tiny cards had incorrect words such as "grill". You have it as "grid" so I have to call a grill a grid in order to get it right . The good part is, it's a good way to just practice the vocabulary before doing duolingo.... Provided the vocabulary is correct that is.

I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews on this app, but I think it might be because people were expecting something just like Duolingo, with all of the carefulness that went into making it such a high quality product. I think it’s unfair for people to judge Tinycards based on Duolingo. Duolingo has had a lot of resources put into it so that it’s a high quality app that can affectively teach (at least the basics of) a language. Tinycards is not Duolingo. Tinycards is a study tool to compliment Duolingo, but that can also help you learn other things. It’s basically Quizlet, only nicer if you ask me. Tinycards are literally just online flash cards that are a good alternative to making your own. This app acts a deck of flashcards only free, with no trees cut down to make them, and arguably it takes a lot less time to make a nice product on Tinycards than to write stuff neatly onto paper.

Love love LOVE this app! Helped me learn Hiragana and Katakana quickly and I review them often. One suggestion for the app that would help us study easier: It would be great if when you finished your quiz it would show the cards you got wrong so you can review them :)
