Great game. Where's the wait button

I love this game. I play it enough. As a rogue like, it needs a wait button. There's been far too many times where I die because I have to move into an enemy and I get cornered. My score is in the 26,000 thousand range. Not even sure if that's a good score or not. Please add a wait button though.
Fun but short

Fun for a couple hours but then I got bored with it, really repetitive and no reason to keep playing other than score. Maybe that's the point and I missed it.
