Love the app!

Jet Green

I know they are just getting started, and there are a few bugs to work out, but the good out weighs the things that of course will get fixed! It has helped me organize my emails on a daily/weekly basis, as most of my emails just get piled up and I forget to answer emails, oops! With timyo I can categorize the emails to today/tomorrow or whenever so I can make sure I always get to them. I also have my own business and it has helped to send clients or employees emails of when I would like to hear back from them. All around this has helped my organization of emails.

Nice interface and concept, with one major bug

rynjwssl

I do like the concept of the app and sorting into today, tomorrow and agenda views. The interface is nice as well and the wait list really wasn't that long, I was approved in less than 24 hours. It makes sense in the early stage of a product to not take everyone and possibly diminish the experience by not being able to accommodate the needs of that many users. HOWEVER, one absolutely fatal flaw is that some entirely text based email messages only show the first few sentences but do not display the rest of it! An email app that doesn't show the whole email is DOA. I am going to keep using it for now, but this bug absolutely needs to be fixed or I will switch back to Spark.

Great concept - but ...

24 hour waiting period to use it? Let me know when it works with the rest of the world's email services. All it us going on my phone right now is taking up space.

Great app!

Timyo is great to help me send clear deadlines to my clients and partners. It really helped me think, before sending an email, of when I really want an answer. I also love that people can tell me when they are expecting a reply too so I don't have to rush to reply. I hope everyone will use it very soon!

Even though still in BETA, I recommend it

This rating is based on what the app is now. NOT missing features or what have you. As it says in the description, this particular email app is still very much in BETA and is only available (FOR THE MOMENT) for Gmail. The waitlist time for all 3 of my Gmail accounts was actually 2 hours before I had access. Not to say this would be the norm for everyone, this was just my own experience. I must say I really do love the app and the Chrome extension. Frankly, I really appreciate that there is a Chrome extension in the first place. It gives a consistency to my workflow and to the overall experience of which I can only assume what Timyo is going for. My experience so far has been a very promising one. When I made use of the Chrome extension when sending an email, I used the ASAP box, which puts a nice message at the top of your email that says, "Please know that I would appreciate a reply by the end of today.". I sent this email to a company that normally takes forever to answer if they even acknowledge my emails. THEY REPLIED WITHIN 4 HOURS! It's helpful little things like that make the workflow easier and more focused. I'm still getting used to the workflow between the phone and computer. It's strange it being easier because of the consistency. The downside one would find with this is not being able to add all email accounts on the phone. For me understanding that this is in BETA and only available for Gmail at the moment, I'm okay with it. To get to my other Gmail accounts, I have to log out of one and sign into another. Which isn't that big a deal for me since my logins stay available and I just choose one (maybe because I have Chrome installed on my phone. I don't know.). I'd like to add my iCloud accounts and Exchange accounts, to the app, but that's all just going to have to wait until it’s available for them. I would like to say that I personally haven't had any issue with text emails rendering fully. I sent a really long fake text email to test it out and didn't encounter the bug that was mentioned by another user. Not to say there isn't one, I just didn't encounter it. HTML works just fine. I haven't used Spark, really, since using Timyo. Except to check out my iCloud accounts. Outlook is what I use for Exchange. Notion (another email app in beta itself) I am currently testing side by side with this one. And even though I can add my other accounts to Notion, I still use this one more and like this one better. So yes, Timyo is still quite in BETA, but I still recommend it. The direction it seems to be going is just a little more thought out in my opinion.

Great experience and unique

DistantSkunk

So awesome for such a complex app coming out of the gate. Perfect? Of course not, but the possibility of perfection can be recognized by using the application while comparing to other humdrum mail apps in the store. Keep going devs!

It has potential but..

Abadlovesong

The font is horrendously big. Where is the customization? Why can't I add another mail account? So many things are missing or not finished. This app was released before it was finished. There is very little reason to use it in its current state. And the rate of changes and updates speak loudly about the state of what to expect from the developer.

Great potential

DRiTEK

Probably my favorite todo implementation for an email app hands down. Just needs to get over all the growing pains. Will definitely be worth 5 stars once they make It faster and implement everything they have shown in their demos.

Great app

Good but why is there a waitlist? Otherwise I love it! Saved my life

Waitlist

Please put in the description that you're adding me to a waitlist. Thanks
