Even though still in BETA, I recommend it – Timyo Email Review

This rating is based on what the app is now. NOT missing features or what have you. As it says in the description, this particular email app is still very much in BETA and is only available (FOR THE MOMENT) for Gmail. The waitlist time for all 3 of my Gmail accounts was actually 2 hours before I had access. Not to say this would be the norm for everyone, this was just my own experience. I must say I really do love the app and the Chrome extension. Frankly, I really appreciate that there is a Chrome extension in the first place. It gives a consistency to my workflow and to the overall experience of which I can only assume what Timyo is going for. My experience so far has been a very promising one. When I made use of the Chrome extension when sending an email, I used the ASAP box, which puts a nice message at the top of your email that says, "Please know that I would appreciate a reply by the end of today.". I sent this email to a company that normally takes forever to answer if they even acknowledge my emails. THEY REPLIED WITHIN 4 HOURS! It's helpful little things like that make the workflow easier and more focused. I'm still getting used to the workflow between the phone and computer. It's strange it being easier because of the consistency. The downside one would find with this is not being able to add all email accounts on the phone. For me understanding that this is in BETA and only available for Gmail at the moment, I'm okay with it. To get to my other Gmail accounts, I have to log out of one and sign into another. Which isn't that big a deal for me since my logins stay available and I just choose one (maybe because I have Chrome installed on my phone. I don't know.). I'd like to add my iCloud accounts and Exchange accounts, to the app, but that's all just going to have to wait until it’s available for them. I would like to say that I personally haven't had any issue with text emails rendering fully. I sent a really long fake text email to test it out and didn't encounter the bug that was mentioned by another user. Not to say there isn't one, I just didn't encounter it. HTML works just fine. I haven't used Spark, really, since using Timyo. Except to check out my iCloud accounts. Outlook is what I use for Exchange. Notion (another email app in beta itself) I am currently testing side by side with this one. And even though I can add my other accounts to Notion, I still use this one more and like this one better. So yes, Timyo is still quite in BETA, but I still recommend it. The direction it seems to be going is just a little more thought out in my opinion.
