I am in love with this App!!!!

I do a lot of travel and hate having to carry a laptop just so that I can give estimates and bill customers. This was my answer to airport security aggravation I just have my iPhone to put in the bin and I have everything that I need. Timewerks is straight forward and easy to understand and I can export to my computer for putting into my excel spreadsheet at home. I have suggested it to about thirty others. Try the lite version and I believe you will buy the full version!

Absolutely perfect product

I've been using TimeWerks since January 2009, and it's been a dream for tracking and billing all my freelance work. I strongly recommend it to any freelancers looking for the perfect way to keep up with clients, projects, hours spent on work, invoicing, and payments!

I use this app everyday!

I've been extremely happy with this app over the past year, but it coil use a few tweaks: 1. Ability to change rates for different projects. 2. Sub-items would be nice.

Way too complicated

DMKY

May be ok for professionals; but I just wanted to make a simple invoice. Why do I have to create a project? And after I did it still wouldn't let me create my invoice because I didn't have any items.

This app has made billing easy for me.

I work as a freelance web developer and this app has helped me to easily keep track of my billing and clients.

Amazing customer service

GrubbyReader

I tried out the free version for about a day before deciding this full app would suit my purposes very well. Then I had a couple of problems that I thought might be a deal-breaker. The reviews had said customer service was good, so I sent an email. The response I got was from a real person with real, detailed instructions, not just an automated "go here and see if you can figure it out yourself" response. Impressive!

Highly Recommend for Contractors

Been using for a few years now and only gets better with every update! Great app for tracking hours and invoicing customers! Can use your own logo, easy backup, print or email PDF invoices, complete control of data entry are some of the highlights of the program! Has almost replaced quick books for me!

Not much for the money

It's only $3, but this has some fatal flaws for me. First, clients and projects do not sync, only work items and invoices. And the sync is not bidirectional. I add a new work item on the website, and it makes it down to iPhone. I delete the item from iPhone, and it remains on the website, but not on the iPhone. Kludgey. As I said, clients and projects added to the iPhone do not make it to the website, or to other mobile devices. Apparently they are mobile device only. I don't like that at all. Mobile devices are for adding time, and one offs, not major app maintenance. The data export feature crashed the app, and my desktop browswer could not access the CSV files it displayed after linking. Fail. The web site is extremely simplistic, and since there is so little functionality there, they made everything large so it wouldn't seem empty. How about more features, instead, like client and project sync. Just sayin'. Overall, $3 isn't much. In iTunes world, however, it promises more than this app delivers. I'm not crying over $3, but you might want to look elsewhere. I'm looking at Time Master next, since Cashboard apparently has no iOS app.
