Poor App, Poor Support.

Kevin41269

This app fails to give alerts soon enough and some times not at all when a tile is left behind. Sometime not receiving an alert for over 20 minutes or when I’m over 15 miles away. I have had this app and tile for almost 3 months without a resolution. Customer support has had me verify all the setting multiple time, delete the app and reinstall, I’ve upgraded to all the latest versions, sent screenshots of all the settings, and had the tile replaced without any of this fixing the problem. The free trial period has expired and I have paid for two months and still no solution. The last hope was upgrading the phone, nope didn’t fix it either. Customer service has sent me a link several times to submit suggested upgrades and capabilities. None of them have been implemented and no one has contacted me.

Yay!

Such peace of mind knowing my keys can be found in the house. Big relief!

Dies prematurely, Horrible customer service

When working, the Tile is a fantastic tool to have. However, each tile that I’ve ever purchased has died in the 6-8 month range. It is practically impossible to reach anyone by phone, or get a replacement sent. I’ve now been told for 2 months that I’ll be notified when my replacement ships. 5 star product minus battery quality; 1 star customer service.

Tile has saved me many times.

Finds my iphone and my keys. Also kept one on dog’s collar.

Doesn’t work!

Keys in my house and tile doesn’t work. I had to find the keys myself, once I picked them up my tile went off... not good. I have a sticky tile too on my remote control. That doesn’t work either. What happened TILE?

Privacy Concern and Other Issues

I’ve used tile for several years now because there has yet to be a reputable competitor. I consistently have issues with it connecting to devices and have had to reach out to support several times for replacements because of hardware issues. It also doesn’t seem to work unless you have location services set to always allow which is completely unnecessary if you’re using localized Bluetooth and makes me suspicious on what they’re doing with that information. While this technology is obviously helpful in day to day life, Tile has missed the mark. I’m looking forward to competitors like Apple to enter into this market.
