I have been using ThumbJam for years now and it has never failed to amaze me or the people/dancers/students that hear it. I play for most of the major dance companies in NYC and I use ThumbJam on a regular basis.

ThumbJam is still at the top when it comes to music apps for ios. The features an sound quality create an amazing creative environment. It’s not hard to spend hours playing with it.

I know I’m a little late to the party but I just want to give ThumbJam some love and recommend it to anyone who hasn’t discovered it. Not only is it a great app by itself and very deep (if you want it to be) but it’s amazing sounding sampled instruments (of which there are many) can be routed to other apps - for example to Fugue Machine through Aum. Just sayin’.

I loved this app and would give it 5 stars, but since upgrading to iPhoneXr, it no longer makes a sound. The interface is also screwed up. No update to be found in App Store. Please fix this! Reinstalled and it works now! Thanks tech support!

I bought this app out of curiosity from reading the reviews. I hoped it would live up to it's hype. It DiD. Amazing quality, cool interface. I now can create my own music anywhere any time.

This is/was a terrific controller and general-purpose "jam" app for playing with ideas and sketching compositions. It gives you a broad range of tools and voices along with a well-implemented and expressive pad controller. TJ got lots of details right. Although things have progressed a lot in iOS music space since its heyday, it set some standards and still holds them high. I hope this dev or another revives this project.

This is by far, and has been for quite a while, one of the best and most important iOS musical instruments. Please don't let it fall to wayside!

I delayed upgrading to the next version of Thumb Jam for fear of breaking the app, and when I finally did that's just what happened. The icon is greyed out and displays "waiting..." And yet, I can open the app, but ONLY by going on the App Store and clicking the "open" button. All my creations are still there, too. Weird, huh?
