My work laptop is Windows, and it’s tough not being able to access my work to dos on it. Please make a web app!

Literally. I’ve tried every other app on the planet and this is the only one I can stay on top of. Beautiful, elegant UI, and powerful features. Don’t change a thing.

Primary Reason I Haven an IPhone

I’ve been using things for 6 years and it’s the primary reason I have never switched to android.

Collaborating and delegating tasks is one of the most basic features included in today’s task management platforms. In 2010, perhaps 2015, collaboration was considered an advanced feature, but it was still available. Without the ability to collaborate and delegate, Things is a subpar and inefficient way to manage tasks and projects. If you are single and will never have a need to share, collaborate or delegate tasks, this app may work for you. Very disappointed in this purchase.

Should give the Mac version as well

Watch nonfunctional without cloud account

The watch complication will not work without a cloud account. I’ve never seen this requirement with another app and would not have purchased if I had known this.

I love the app! It has simple aesthetics and a great UX. I’d highly recommend it to those that want to elevate their task organizational toolbox. Especially those trying to upgrade from the iOS Notes app.

The Good - outstanding visual design for those who love simplicity - good implementation of headings - extremely flexible - good integration with Spark The Bad - UX requires too many button presses to use tags or to add tasks when using a keyboard in iOS and iPadOS - repeat function is less functional than other apps (repeat every weekday after completion not possible, for example) - no attachments possible - no filters or other funnels of actions without due dates - no priority settings - basic search capabilities (no search by creation date, task age, or due date) - rarely updated

I love things, but…

Things 3 is a fantastically designed app. It’s clean, it’s functional, it’s pretty much perfect in every way. However as someone that works in both an Apple ecosystem and an “everything else” ecosystem, I don’t have access to Things when I’m at work (on Windows) or when using my work phone (Android). This has been a feature request for years with the Cultured Code team and they’ve consistently indicated they have no plans to expand to other platforms, or even the web for that matter (a web app would be a great compromise!). For this reason, I have to drop my review to two stars, as support for devices outside of the Apple ecosystem is just too important these days.
