(3.13) Knocking a star from my rating due to the fact that this app doesn’t seem to respect the system text size settings. This is a serious accessibility issue I hope they address soon, so I can go back to using this app again! (I currently have to use other task managers which respect iOS text size settings.) ? (3.0) Excellent update – refines and improves Things tremendously. And I'm very pleasantly surprised by touch interface innovations such as the Magic Plus Button – it's almost ten years since the original iPhone, and we're still discovering improved ways of interacting with modern touchscreens! This is the task manager you want – striking a great balance between simplicity and features.

Request/criticism

Of the widgets that have a (+) button, that button only makes a new task for the inbox. It makes sense to me that pressing that button should make a new task for the list that I’m viewing with that widget, with any tag filter I’ve set. I can do that if I tap into the list and press the (+) button from within the app, so why can’t I do that from the widget? If that’s not possible I’d like to at least be able to remove that button in the widget settings. My lizard brain wants to press it but it only confuses and frustrates me. Otherwise great app!

Timing

This is the best app for organizing your life. I still need to insert the time, or at least a deadline to each task. If this feature is in this app, then no one would argue or even compare this app to another one.

Notification Badge

It never shows up until I open the app. Pathetic

By far the best tasks/reminders app, but...

I feel really guilty giving this app only 2 stars, to be honest. Things 3 is clean, fast, easy to use, efficient, and quite frankly makes more sense to me than any other reminders app. The widgets are better than Apple Reminders widgets, too! However... my iPhone is not my only device, and this app is NOT worth the $80(!) it costs to get it on all my devices. $50 for the Mac app, $20 for iPad, AND $10 for the iOS/watchOS version? It feels absolutely ridiculous and greedy, considering it’s the SAME APP just blown up for different form factors. If you have an Apple Silicon Mac you’re better off just running the iPhone version of the app on your Mac. Until this is resolved, I just can’t bring myself to switch wholly from Apple Reminders to Things 3, no matter how much better the interface is - I need the ability to have everything sync across all my devices. I’m just absolutely not going to spend $80 to get that functionality.

I LOVE Things 3!!!

The calendar display at the top of the page in small print is so calming. And the tasks that are undone simply roll over to the next day- no turning red or adding alarming exclamation points. The ease of adding checklists to a task is wonderful!!!

So extremely well designed GTD

This app drives my daily routine every single day, and has for the last 6 years. My productivity would suffer a crushing blow without it. Used in conjunction with David Allen’s brilliant book “Getting Things Done,” this app is basically like a ‘limitless’ pill (as in the Bradley Cooper Movie) for my prioritization of life. I can’t thank cultured code enough.

Outlook integration

Everything about Things 3 is perfect except for the lack of Outlook integration which is really a deal breaker to ones who wish to use Things 3 for their daily workflows at the office.

Amazing app and a GTD essential

This app is the only one that worked for me. I love the fact that I can press Ctrl and Space anytime to capture a thought. It’s my favorite feature. I take meeting notes in the project section instead of using another note taking app. I wish they would add a feature or make it a rich text in the notes only. So I can make the dates of the meetings bold and add Bullet points for the notes taken.
