Crashes all the time and unstable network connection

This is really a pita. I have been continuously experiencing crash or freezing of the app and cannot continue my study. To solve the probelm I even needed to unintall, reboot, reinstall and log in to the app many times. Furthermore, I found that the app is having a hard time connecting to the internet once I switched between 4G and Wifi. When moving I need to disable my wifi, or the app will be very unstable.

I downloaded the app and entered my login credentials. However, all I got was a blank white screen. I exited the app and tried again but got the same result.

Works better since the update — crashes less. I’m glad the outlines are available on the app, but I really wish that I had access to my Flashcards and the ability to make new Flashcards from the app. Right now all it is is a place to watch videos and look at outlines, and for “the first bar prep company built entirely online” it would be nice to be able to see my calendar or work with my Flashcards when I don’t have access to my computer.

It’s great to be able to download the lectures but they are not accessible when you are not online, and you can’t delete the lectures once you have watched them so it takes place on your phone... A few updates and it would be perfect!

The app is a joke. The web browser on my phone works just as good as when I’m on my computer. Plus, you still have all of your functionality. The app only lets you watch lectures and read outlines in the flex study mode so you can’t even pick up where you left off on your computer.

I can’t imagine what it was like before the update allowing you to see your outlines. Aside from watching videos and scrolling through outlines, there’s not much utility. I started making flash cards online thinking I’d be able to access them on my app but I was mistaken. You’re better off not even using the flash card capability and just go out and buy index cards because they’re useless if you’re away from a computer. This app could be 5 starts if it allowed for flash cards and my calendar.

This app would be way more helpful if I had access to directed study while in the app. As someone who uses the directed study mode almost exclusively, only having access to flex mode is pretty much useless. This is exacerbated by the fact that you can’t access you study schedule or calendar either, so unless you memorized what tasks you were supposed to do next, you would just be randomly completing tasks in no particular order. Additionally I downloaded the app thinking I might be able to use the flash card feature while on the go, but there is no mobile flash card feature. Please add directed study mode and mobile flash cards!!!

I can only watch lectures and view outlines, it would be much more useful to use other online features as well via app so that I can study on the go without having to pull out my entire laptop. All definitely need to be able to have directed study mode and access to my daily calendar, otherwise the app is virtually useless.

As many others have pointed out, the app doesn't support directed study mode, which is the only mode the majority of us use. That's pretty ridiculous given how much we / our firms pay for the course and especially since the mobile version of the site does support this mode. Themis developers, please make support for directed study mode your main priority!! Beyond that, the app crashes often for me. Not during use, but usually when I open the app and then close out of it, it will fail to reopen and I have to kill it before relaunching. Allowing for 1.25x and 1.75x speed on lectures is really useful though. The main website doesn't allow for those speeds (please fix this!), so I use this app and Apple TV to cast the lectures on 1.25x mode to my TV

Title says it all. I paid over $1,250 for the Themis course. They advertise this app as part of their course offerings. Turns out the app freezes on opening half of the time. When it does open, there’s no access to directed study mode, no flash cards, no multiple choice MBE questions. What could be a more obvious perfect use of a phone / tablet app than flash cards and multiple choice?!?! I like the Themis web course overall, but this app is just insultingly bad.
