Needs work

No speed controls for videos and the downloads don't always go through. I had to try about half a dozen times on one video before it downloaded fully. I spent a lot of money on this program. I wish they would dedicate more resources towards improving the app. I was hoping to be able to answer mbe questions on the go but that doesn't seem to be an option. The lack of speed controls on the videos is a huge downside.
Easy access to lectures

And it's FREE!!! I took barbri and honestly, it all depends on the amount of time you put into studying! Barbri did nothing for me. The materials were confusing, the schedule was just too overwhelming, and the price was ridiculous! Totally regret taking Barbri. I have been using Themis plus adaptibar and old materials. Themis provides these lectures without charging you an arm and a leg!
No multiple choice?!
Barbri's better
I would have never went with Themis had I known their app didn't offer multiple choice questions. I took barbri for an exam in a different state (and passed) and found this to be one of the most helpful features of their all around great phone app. For this and many other reasons having nothing to do with the phone app, I regret my decision to use Themis for this second bar exam. I thought I'd save money this second time around, but you get what you pay for. I guess I shouldn't have expected Themis's phone app to be anywhere close to barbri's.

Poorly designed app. Not all the material of the course available on the app such as the essays PQS or the MBE. Quizzes scores are weird. It shows 0 correct and 0 incorrect. The app needs ALOT of work.

So far I love studying through Themis but the app itself needs some work. I am unable to speed up the videos within the app and they will. To load din safari at all. I cannot view my directed study calendar. And the overall interface is slightly confusing but I am slowly figuring it out. Each video needs to be downloaded individually I assume to save space. You are able to remove the video when you are done with it.
Great app for watching lectures

I wish I could see my schedule on this app so I know what I need to do when I get home, or to plan for the next day when I'm not near my laptop. Otherwise, it's a great app to help you study for the bar!
App currently crashes every time

New update has not solved problem. App repeatedly displays "cannot connect to server" endlessly.
Bugs fixed, but still too limited in its features

Good as far as it goes. I hope they add a bank of practice MBE questions like the BARBRI app has. That's the most helpful feature for practicing/studying during small windows of time.

This is a great app if you only want to watch videos and take the five question assessments afterward. It doesn't do anything else. Themis should create flash cards for this app.
Absolutely insufficient

The app only has lectures and post-lecture quizzes. No fact patterns. No MBE questions. If you know the material and need application, this is completely useless. It's far behind Barbri and Kaplan.
