Pop ups and Ads have destroyed the app

Keep calm and delete

Constant ads and pop ups are killing this app. Often and I mean often, I’m forcibly redirected even with the ability to select “back”. As a result, the app does crash or freeze up, and I must back out and start over. I understand Chive needs these advertisers to help keep people paid and the app alive. Too many bugs and advertisements for me. The app has run its course and will never cross the finish line.

Great, but..

This app is always the most likely to automatically close in the background if I go to another app for a little bit. It never fails! I’ll be halfway into a gallery and will leave the app to do something else on my phone for a bit. When I come back to the app it starts fresh and launches the main screen instead of the gallery I was in. None of the other apps has this same problem. Other apps will close only if I don’t go back to them for a long while. This app will close if I don’t come back to it within just a few minutes, sometimes less! Please fix!!!!! Thank you

I love the chive but hate the app with all the intrusive ads. The last straw are the ads that keep opening the App Store rendering the app unusable.

This app has blown ads out of proportion. I used too like getting on here and now it’s such a task to look at content because every 5 seconds there’s an ad.

I used to love the chive but they have sold out. The app works like crap now with all the ads popping up and slowing it down. All of this happening right when they came out with the $4.99/month subscription for a membership. No longer a chiver

App filled with ads and junk

This app used to be really awesome however now is full of crap and ads. I'm about to delete and never go back. App crashes music apps now every time I open this with music playing.

This app was amazing for a while, now it’s littered with adds AND it operates SO SLOWLY! It will open a few pages but than gets loaded down and nothing will open or load... except the adds, don’t worry those always open perfectly

I love The Chive, but the app is now garbage after they let adds take over. The app is so slow and crashes on many occasions.

Big banner ads that you can't close. Photos are consistently out of frame. And the save image / photo function will not work. Usually end up using the safari browser on my iPhone to KCCO. App crashes or completely locks up. Do it right or don't do it Chive
