Bad customer service

I asked a question and they never got back to me.

No evidence to back leaps lol

dhjwwkowowns

I mean there is no evidence to support leaps but it’s fun I guess ??‍♀️? just don’t take it seriously

Didn’t meet expectations

Several people recommended this to me but it honestly was less informative than any of my baby books. The leaps seemed generic and hard to define and I read that there is little science backing any of it up. The plus is having the calendar aspect to track some milestones but that’s a pretty ordinary feature. The language used was awkward and repetitive as if it was a bad translation. In short great idea that they should build on abs improve.

Not accurate, don’t waste your money

seriously dont

I purchased this app before doing my research. It’s not accurate. Every baby is so different that this “leaps” and timing can’t possibly apply across the board. Use the CDC’s free milestone app instead.

Underwhelmed

pmomto2

Brand new to the app and there’s no description anywhere about what the leap chart means. There’s the calendar with red lines and sunny/storm cloud emojis with absolutely no explanation as to what they mean. Being so highly recommended I’m a little disappointed that this app cost $4 for something I could’ve just googled.

Needs some tweaks

This app is great, and it’s been super insightful for us as first time parents. But the wordage is frustrating to me. To go from explaining the leaps with “he/she” or by my son’s name (which is perfect) to having these check lists that say “you are cranky” or “you are usually sweet” etc. It’s a minor complaint but I really wish they would keep it uniform throughout the app. Have it all say “he” or “she” not “you”.

Waste of money

Ro_see

Don’t buy the app ! Just google it ! I was so dumb to purchase it and it was seriously a waste of money! I seriously believed there would be a lot more than just a few paragraphs. I wish I would’ve read the reviews since half of these people clearly say DONT BUY IT !!! Also, they make it sound like the “EXTRAS” are included but NO, you have to pay an extra $12.99 just for a 6 month plans. So disappointing.

Great knowledge for any parent

I am a second time mother so I should know it all right? Wrong. My first is 10 and when he was a baby we didn’t have apps like this. It’s fascinating to read about the reasons behind your baby’s behaviors and also by knowing why your baby is behaving a certain way you can help them through all of their little growth spirts, while also helping yourself. Because let’s face it all parents wonder if their doing a good enough job so when baby is having an especially rough day we all say what am I doing wrong? Well with the Wonder Weeks it sometimes tells you, no you aren’t doing wrong your baby is making a “leap” that affects their mood, sleep, behavior, etc... and how to help them and yourself have an easier go of it. What I love also is it tells you when the “leap” should be over which really gets me through the tough times. I recommend this app to every mother or father who wants to know more about what’s going on in that sweet little head and also wants great expert advice on how to help your little ones along.

Pseudoscience

Raquelita Montgomery

Where are the references to the EVIDENCE and SCIENCE behind everything this app is claims?!?! This is total pseudoscience and a gross attempt, albeit successful, to get my $4. It could at least be entertaining to use, but the app is very confusing to navigate. The same information, but slightly different, is on multiple pages. The same checklists are on multiple tabs, but the checklists don’t “talk to each other” so different things are marked off on each checklist. Also, it clearly states that you must use the due date, and gives the example of preemies, but what about for babies born after their due date?—it makes no reference to this. Overall, disappointing.
