For three or four off seasons I used the original “purchased” SF videos. I always figured I didn’t need to join the newer service plan as I had purchased 13 videos over those previous years. That was until I learned how training with power was way better than just perceived effort and cadence. I don’t have a smart trainer, but just completing an FTP test on a friends smart trainer set my FTP and gave me a good idea of what my different wattages feel like. Using that and following one of the SF training programs has got me working harder and smarter. I’ll pick up an ANT+ sensor to upgrade to virtual watts in the short run and will be picking up some Garmin Vector 3’s for accurate power readings this spring. Sufferfest makes trainer rides fun and for a low cost fee, delivers a lot of physical benefits. Well done Sufferfest.

Great bike videos for home trainer and the addition of strength training for bikers is a great addition.

Great motivational video footage. The workouts are great...when you’re done. Like the way the app is wrong up. Negative- please, please make available on Android.

Its not an app. It’s a coach and a education for cycling all in one.

There are a number of hidden features, which are actually well explained, but I was a bit overwhelmed at first. But I would advise you to stick with it! I’m entering week 3 of a 12-week training plan based on my 4D Test, and It’s giving me so much more structure and discipline than I’ve ever had before. And it’s tailored toward my abilities and weaknesses and goals.

I’ve been with the Sufferfest since my first purchase of the downward spiral. The app makes it so you don’t have to purchase each video and can stream anywhere, including the gym when your trainer is at home. Sure you don’t get power numbers but if you’re honest with yourself and can run off perceived effort, the videos do their job very well. Their additions of strength training and yoga are a welcome surprise as they prove to be harder than they look. It’s like having a personal trainer in your pocket at all times! Kudos to the Sufferfest guys for making and continuing to have a great app! IWBMATTBYT!

Let me start off by saying I am a diehard Sufferlandrian and used previous version of app for a year without any issues. I love the upgrades that the new app brings but have experienced a multitude of bugs. App crashes on IPad after end of workout and often does not upload activity. When adjusting intensity during workout the video has stopped and shows graphics only. Really starting to get annoying...
