The latest update (sept 27) is not only super clunky/draggy on older iphones w latest ios, but various articles are not visible after clicking to read. please Fix asap.

Ads ruined the app

Before the ads, this was a great app. Very clean layout, no flash, solid reporting. Now it's a jumble with screen space crowded with ads and large headlines.

I deleted this ap after 5 minutes. So many ads you can’t focus on the content. It’s a shame. The Hill used to be great. Hint to the Hill, no one uses these ads to buy anything anyways. I can’t believe the addies still pay you to annoy people. It doesn’t work Good luck and goodbye

App sends me soft porn ads

I am always seeing soft porn from Live me (another app) on The Hill. No thanks Two stars for up to date political content!

Like the articles, hate the ads

I can’t stand the modal ad banner that wont budge regardless of how I scroll through the articles. I wouldn’t mind if the ad moved along as I scrolled, but this aggressive, always in my face ad format suggests financial desperation on the part of the content producer. I’ll probably just go back to reading the articles using safari with 1Blocker ad blocking enabled.

Don’t bother with receiving up-to-date Notifications from App. You’ll get on-screen alert, swipe to read update, App sends you to Main Page, not update. In fact, the ‘Breaking News’ is NO WHERE to be found...

Aggressive Ads

I really appreciate The Hill’s reporting, but the ads - including pop-ups and, now, one that inexplicably blacks out the display for a moment and plays a tone - are so out of control that I can only use it when my ad-blocking VPN is enabled. Then, sometimes the ads attempt to launch and crash the app.

Serious bugs that no one seems to care about

Want to hear the most annoying sound on earth? BEEEEEEEP That's the sound this app makes EVERY TIME you open an article with a video. Every. Time. Then there are other issues like the 6 billion ads per article that load improperly and overlay on top of the actual words that you came here to read. It's disgraceful that such a respected publication would slap their name on such a half-assed app that shouldn't be that complicated in the first place.

Scrolling Text Format Issues & missing iPhone X Version

The content is great, there is an issue lately where the full article text doesn’t appear and you can’t scroll. It would be great if the app could be updated for iPhone X screens.
