The online payment process is awful. There is no documentation that I’ve made a payment or if the payment is pending. This caused me to pay twice in one month.

Please take a moment to think about what you value when seeking insurance.... do you value a company that will listen to your needs, follow up on your requests, help you when you have an accident and need to use the services you have diligently paid for? If the answer is yes to any of these please go anywhere else for car insurance. The General is a scam, they will take your premiums like a champ but when the runner meets the road, or a bumper meets an bumper they might as well be made of smoke they disappear so fast. I’ve tried to switch adjusters, asked for managers to speak to and even asked to speak to their legal department, which I was told they do not have! Yea right, you don’t have a legal council in house at an insurance company..... another bold face lie they think will get them off the hook for doing their job that I have paid for. I think the legal term is fraud right???

DO NOT make a early payment or you will be charged twice customer service helped and said they will refund my money but we will see I’m used to making my payments early so I’m good and I still got this months balance taken out even though I already paid!
