I have saved a lot switching to the general ! The app is very convenient and also easy to navigate. I really like that you can pay your bill at some local stores if you only have cash & why not pay your bill near by ? Anyways I’d say overall great review !

This has been the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with a company before.

Absolutely HORRIBLE!! 120$ INCREASE w spotless record. An accident that WAS NOT even MY fault!!! NOT a single ticket since 2008. NOT an accident to MY vehicle besides a NYC city sanitation truck clipping corner of my car in 2007!!!!! I WILL NEVER ever USE the General again after my policy is complete!!!!!! DO NOT USE THEM!! Customer service is HORRIBLE AS WELL!!!!!

Honestly each time I call them I get to talk to a person way quicker than any other company! If there is a long wait they put you in queue and call you back as soon as your turn pops up. I have made multiple changes to my policy and they have been nothing but helpful each time. I always recommend them to friends/ family when they are insurance shopping. Great company

Like many others during this. Ovid crisis, I struggle to pay my bills. Upon reinstating with the General, they failed to explain that I’d have to pay them for the months I had lapsed. In 6 weeks, I had to pay 3 months payments to keep my policy.
