Solid CCG

Eagleofmeaux

Excellent CCG with decent options for "free to play" folks. Good, cheap starter bundles too. Some novel mechanics here as well, which add some great new ways of thinking about traditional MtG or Hearthstone style games.

Can’t play

Dissapointed Dude

Downloaded update still can’t play says I need to update and redirects to App Store. Open game up through that window and says the same thing.

Update

Slickstist

Love the game, I have played elder scrolls since the first game came out in the 90s. After this update, I can’t play anymore. I open the app and it tells me to update, but when I get to the App Store there is no update option? How can I play the game now? Just lost my login bonus...

Sore losers

Corwin K

It’s amazing how many of the comments here refer to a lack of randomization in cards drawn or worse yet a pre-programmed algorithm to sabotage your efforts. Talk about sore losers. The game is fantastic. Great design. Great single player story-mode. My only criticism is the existence of clearly underpowered and overpowered cards.

Almost Perfect!

Walliwave5

The only thing keeping me from giving this game a perfect 5 is that it logs you out way to quickly even if you’re not in an online battle. If you log in and put your device down for 1 minute you must re log in which isn’t a huge deal but after many times becomes annoying. The actual in game workings are pretty much flawless! I will be a long time player if they keep up all the amazing things.

Still no iPhone X support!

Sasquatch7878

It has been half a year and you still haven’t added screen support for one of the most used models of phones on the planet. How hard is it to adjust the resolution! Also why do I have to agree to your EULA every single time I open the app? No other app I have ever used has made me do this. Get your act together!

New game available

Fukabum

No updates and I can’t play the game

Started off strong

When the game first released, i was pleasantly surprised. I played a lot of MTG, though I didn’t enjoy Hearthstone because of the restrictive aspects of cards being online, though I found a way to enjoy Legends regardless. It definitely had heavy premium aspects, but I was enjoying it so it was ok throwing a few dollars at it here and there. Though, I do notice that, to stay competitive with new set releases, you have to continue to pay, and i have also noticed that they are making stories and packs more and more expensive. I tried playing the game without spending money for awhile. The game drags, with hardly any rewards even if you are successful in competitive play. I don't care how “great” the story is, if I have to shovel $20 up each time, it is money better spent elsewhere. I don't care how solid the game is, If I I have to throw more money for pack to be competitive, I can fine at least 10 games, just on the apple store that have almost as solid gameplay that don't have pay to win aspects.. I have been a fan of Bethesda and the Elder Scrolls universe since Morrowind. I purchased Skyrim on 3 separate devices, 4 different times (one being the special edition). I feel like I (and many others like me) have paid our dues and deserve a solid product that doesn’t rely on premium tactics like this to stay afloat. That is not the Bethesda I know. Its sad to see AAA companies and indie devs alike angling more and more in this direction. It kills me, because I really like Bethesda and want to support them, but I cant support a company that values money over content. The community is slowly wising up to this new was of business inside of the gaming world, and it wont be long until there is no patience for it. Enjoy your cash whales Bethesda, because I refuse to be one of them..

Extra Legendary

I won't go on for ages on how I think card battle games kinda stagnated for awhile there. I can't argue this game doesn't suffer from some of that creature summoning game type atrophy that seems to be prevalent in many of these types of games. However this game is well put together, deeper and more complex than Hearthstone, and easily finds purchase with me given it's intellectual property, even if it's still a creature summoning card game like many others. You get, for free, an amazingly well written single player campaign. Every player also has access to anything and everything anyone else can have through a card crafting system similar to other digital CCG. A fully fleshed out multiplayer is obviously there too. Of course; you can buy card packs and such with in game currency and real money. You pay money for later expansions adding story mode stuff and unlocking cards automatically too. Hopefully they will keep the cost down but its just par for the course with almost every card game. I see it being worth while as paid DLC if the game is actually evolving from those expansion and aren’t just more cards for the sake of selling more cards. So, come for the tasty free single player story and stick around for some much needed deeper strategy card game that doesn't overly complicate the formula. Legends has finally started to give Blizzard a competitor but I don't think they will be able to top Hearthstone’s mass appeal and polish (even if Legends is the better game).
